Today's movement done and dusted.
I don't go to the gym daily.
Nope I don't! Why, you might ask? You need to rest your muscles too.

So I skip a day except we have special workouts or programs and that barely happens anyways.
I don't believe in crash weight loss.

It affects your skins elasticitybnd you'll not like what you see if it's not gradual.

Someone asked me what's your most dreaded workout?

HOW TO CLEAN SNAILS
BUY YOUR SNAILS
BREAK AND GET OUT FLESH FROM THE SHELL
SOAK ALUM OR
SLICE LEMON OR LIME
YOU CAN ALSO USE GARRI
TO REMOVE SLIME, POUR SALT ONTO YOUR SNAILS AND RUB INTO IT... YOU WILL SEE THE SLIME COMING TOGETHER..
REPEAT TILL ALL THE SLIM IS GONE
THEN POUR YOUR SNAILS INTO ALUM WATER OR ANY OF THE OTHER'S AND WASH CLEAN
RINSE AND RE-RINSE WITH CLEAN WATER FOR ABOUT THREE TIMES
PUT POT ON THE FIRE AND ADD YOUR SNAILS
ADD SEASONING OF CHOICE ( I season like beef )AND BOIL FOR TWO MINUTES
REMOVE FROM THE FIRE AND STRAIN OFF THE WATER..
FRY DRY...

Chocolate Muffins

Ingredients

2 cups flour (cake or all purpose)
1 cup plain yoghurt
1 & 1/2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup cocoa powder
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp coffee powder
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup choc chips or chocolate chunks (optional)

Instructions
1. In a large bowl add flour , cocoa powder, coffee powder, salt , baking powder, bicarbonate of soda then whisk well .

2. In another large bowl add oil and sugar then mix . Add vanilla then mix in one egg at a time . Finally add yoghurt then mix.

3. Sift in the dry ingredients to the wet mixture . Mix until all the ingredients are well combined. Please DO NOT over mix .

4. Scoop in the dough into a prepared muffin tray . This is a thick mixture, so make sure the muffin tray is fully filled.

*Add chocolate chips or chocolate chunks on top .

5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 Degrees Celsius for 18-20 minutes.

Tips : If you want them to puff up on top bake them at 200 Degrees Celsius for exactly 5 minutes. Then reduce the oven temperature to 180 Degrees Celsius and bake for 15 minutes.
*Don’t open the oven during this process .

* In order to keep the muffins moist for a long time , let them cool off for a little bit . While still warm keep them in an airtight container.

To say I love eating cashew nut s will be an understatement.
I can finish a full bottle once I start eating.
However, I stopped eating them because I felt it made me add weight.

Getting red frosting can be tricky sometimes.
Here are some tips that will help you get your red buttercream without worries.

1. Use gel food coloring (Super red) or powdered food coloring.

2. Using buttercream with a yellow colour usually affects the colour you are trying to achieve. Try using a buttercream recipe with shortening. This makes your buttercream almost white in nature.

3. Most times our buttercream gets bitter because of the excessive use of the red colour.

To prevent this :

Start mixing your buttercream with a pink food colour. This provides a base for adding your red colour to it. So that you don’t end up adding too much red colour.

But if however, your buttercream becomes bitter, adding a strong flavour like almond flavour can counter it a bit.

4. This also works for fondant too. If you have pink coloured fondant, you can convert it to red by adding red food colour to it.

5. It’s always advisable to mix your colours ahead of time, because gel paste colours deepen with time. So mix your red buttercream days before you use it.
