“Entrepreneurial thinking isn’t just for future business owners — it’s for every student, every subject, and every stage of education.” — Engr. Bello Tongo, CEO, Tongston Group.

At the Future of Education Summit 2022, Tongston Group CEO Engr. Bello Tongo had an interview with CNBC Africa’s Dewald Rademeyer to break down what truly makes entrepreneurial education different and essential.

-Introduce it early — ideally between ages 11–12

-Make it story-driven and project-based

-Connect all subjects to real-world work and enterprise

-Deliver it at all levels — especially tertiary — through multiple formats.

This isn’t just teaching students about entrepreneurship. It’s about building a mindset of value creation, innovation, and adaptability — preparing learners to thrive as founders or intrapreneurs across sectors.

The future belongs to creators, not just consumers.

Let’s embed entrepreneurial thinking across education — and build a generation ready to lead.
