Human Reproduction, choice of sx and determinant.
The s*x of a baby is determined at the moment of conception, based on the chromosomes carried by the s***m that fertilizes the egg.

Mother (Egg) Always contributes an X chromosome Cannot determine s*x alone
Father (S***m) Can contribute either an X or a Y chromosome Determines the baby’s s*x
Result at Fertilization:
S***m Type Combination Baby’s S*x
X X (egg) + X (s***m) = XX Girl
Y X (egg) + Y (s***m) = XY Boy
Summary:
Male s***m determines the baby's s*x.
All eggs from the mother carry an X chromosome.
If a Y-carrying s***m fertilizes the egg → Boy (XY).
If an X-carrying s***m fertilizes the egg → Girl
