So yesterday, I was standing by the roadside looking for a cab when I noticed a woman selling Ugwu (vegetable).

She had just brought it from the farm, according to her, and was trying to hawk it alongside her little daughter.

Honestly, I didn’t need vegetables. I wasn’t even planning to buy any.
But somehow, I felt this little nudge in my spirit to patronise her. So I bought some. ❤️

And guess what?

Immediately after I bought from her, people started coming to buy too😍
She turned to me with so much excitement and said:

“Anty, na you open my market today o! God bless you!”

That statement stayed with me.

Because who knows what was going through her mind before I came?

Maybe she was wondering how long she would have to stand there before making her first sale.

Maybe she was praying quietly that her vegetables would sell quickly so she could go home with something for her family.

And perhaps, what looked like a very small purchase to me was actually a big encouragement to her.

Sometimes, we don't realise how much our little acts of kindness can mean to someone else.

May God give us the discernment to recognise opportunities to support people around us, even in the little ways we can. ❤️

Because sometimes, you don't need to have plenty to be a blessing. You just need a willing heart. 🙏🏽
