A while back, I almost disappointed a client, all because I didn’t have my laptop with me.
He urgently needed to edit and send scanned copies of some signed documents, but there was no café nearby. My laptop battery was dead, and honestly, I started to panic.
Then I remembered an app I had installed months ago but barely used — iLovePDF.
I opened it, took clear pictures of the pages, and the app automatically straightened the edges and converted everything into a neat PDF. I even made some quick edits right there on my phone.
In less than 10 minutes, I sent the files. The client was surprised and asked if I had access to a scanner. I just smiled.
That experience reminded me that tech isn’t always about having big devices. Sometimes, it’s the small tools we overlook that end up saving the day.
If you’ve got a smartphone, you already have power in your hands, you just need to explore what’s inside.
Have you ever had a small app save you in a tight situation? I’d love to hear your story.
