My Female Student.

Episode 1.

I trudged through the dusty streets, my feet heavy with the weight of disappointment. Born into a poor family, I had always known that life wouldn't be easy. But I had never let that hold me back. I had worked tirelessly to attend the College of Education, and after graduating as a mathematics teacher, I had set out to find a job in my local government area.

But it seemed like the universe had other plans. Despite my best efforts, I couldn't find a teaching job anywhere in my state. It was as if the doors of opportunity were slammed shut in my face.

Just when I thought all hope was lost, my friend Limbobo called me from Lagos. His voice was like a beacon of light in the darkness.

"Chidera, my man, I heard you're still looking for a job," he said, his tone sympathetic. "Why don't you come to Lagos? I can help you get a teaching job in a private secondary school."

I didn't hesitate. I packed my bags and set off for Lagos, my heart filled with a sense of hope and possibility.

When I arrived at Limbobo's one-room apartment, I was struck by the simplicity of his living arrangements. But despite the humble surroundings, Limbobo's warmth and hospitality made me feel right at home.

Together, we set out to find me a teaching job. But it seemed like the Lagos job market was just as unforgiving as the one back home. Every school we visited rejected me, citing my lack of a BSC degree as the reason.

I was on the verge of giving up when I stumbled upon a laundry shop that was looking for someone to wash and iron clothes. It wasn't my dream job, but it was better than nothing.

My boss, a kind-hearted man named Mr. Jenkins, took a liking to me and paid me weekly. The first time he handed me my wages, I was overjoyed. I rushed to the market and bought a bunch of food stuff, eager to cook a decent meal for myself and Limbobo.

But when Limbobo came home from work and saw the food stuff, his expression turned stern.

"Chidera, what's all this?"

Revenge for mama
Episode 3

"You look so beautiful," Oma said, looking at me as I smiled.wow what are you cooking, Oma asked. As she proceeded to dish out the food, and we both decided to go fetch water from the river

We took the clay pots, and I followed Oma to the stream. On our way, I saw a man in the sky covered in blood, and immediately, he shouted, "Run!" I quickly snapped out of my daydream.

I told Oma we should go back home, but she insisted we should keep going. We had a debate on the issue, and just as Oma turned back to look at me, I saw an arrow coming right towards us. I quickly dragged her away, and we both fell to the ground.

"Oh no!" I exclaimed, as the Oba warriors ran in with their horses and started putting all the houses on fire. People started screaming, "Run! Run!" so we both ran back home.

Getting there, we saw everyone in the compound running, with bullets flying through the air. Houses were on fire, and people were crying and screaming for help.

We rushed in and saw Oma's grandma hiding with some other villagers who had run in earlier. We heard people screaming outside as we closed the door and hid with them too.

Oma's grandma told us to take all our clothes and run through the back door because they were there to kill and take people as slaves. We did what she said, and we all ran from the back door. Oma's grandma couldn't run so fast, so we had to stop many times to check if she was still behind us.

After running and running, some Oba warriors chased us with their horses and soon caught Oma's grandma. They carried her instantly. She kept telling us to run as tears flowed down her cheeks..

Revenge for Mama (New)
Episode 1

I woke up to the sound of people shouting. When I opened my eyes, I couldn't see. The hut was filled with smoke because it was on firĂŤ.

I couldn't breathe, so I fell while trying to find a way to open the door and run. Then, my mother rushed in, screaming, and immediately, two Oba warriors came in with her.

My mother hid me on her back while the oba warrior walked back and brought out a knifĂŤ from his pocket.

and told my mother to lay na*ked, or he wouldn't kil* us. The look on his face meant he was ready to kil* us if she wouldn't give him what he wanted.

She begged, but all was in va*in. At my little age, I started crying because I was scared.

She agreed, and I looked at my mother; then she blinked twice, meaning she was up to something.

She dropped the hoe she was holding and started removed her clothes.

I closed my eyes with one hand. The house was very hot,he came closer and was about to touch my mother when my mother held him, she brought out a knif* from her clothes and used it to cut his pen*s.

He scre*amed immediately and my mother removed the knif* and cu*t 0ff his he*ad. He fell, and bl00d flowed down his b0dy.

He was shaking as if he were a chicken k*lled for an occasion. My mother dressed up, picked up her knif* and we both ran out of the hut into the bush.

Everyone had been k*lled, leaving only me and Mom.
We both kept running inside the bush as it attracted many hunters chasing us.

We kept running until we got to a bridge, and then my mother stopped. "Save yourself, Alexis," she said, as te*ars flowed down her cheeks.

"No, Mom, please don't leave me!" I cried out, begging, as she said, "I will always be with you." I looked back and saw the warriors coming; I pointed at them as my mother turned back.

Revenge for mama
Episode 2

Soon, I brought my head to the surface of the water and tried breathing, but I passed out in the water.

Eventually I wokeup, I opened my eyes and saw a beautiful girl looking at me like she had been waiting for me to wake up.

"She's awake!" she exclaimed in a loud voice as she ran to inform the others outside.

I became afraid and tried standing up, but my head was spinning, and I couldn't feel my legs.

Soon, she came back with many people behind her. I became even more afraid and tried as hard as I could to raise my leg. "You are so beautiful!" an old woman said, smiling at me.

The girl told me not to be afraid because I was in safe hands. She explained that some fishermen had found me beside the river and asked what had happened to me.

I introduced myself as Alexis but couldn't bring myself to tell them what had happened.

"I don't want to talk about it," I responded, crying in pain. The old woman then hugged me and promised me I would be fine.

There were two boys, four men, two old women, and three girls my age, including Oma, the one I met first in the room. They prepared food for me, and I ate. I took some native medicine and slept for a while.

The next day, I woke up feeling stronger and better. I took some clothes from Oma's bag and dressed up. I arranged the house and swept the compound. I made rice with the ingredients I could find, and soon everyone was awake.

"You look so beautiful," Oma said, looking at me as I smiled.wow what are you cooking, Oma asked. As she proceeded to dish out the food, and we both decided to go fetch water from the river.

"Don't let someone knack you for years and call it a relationship" – Ini Edo

Many people mistakenly believe that a physical connection is all it takes to be in a relationship. However, Ini Edo emphasizes that there's a vast difference between being in a relationship and simply being ‘knacking mates.’

Being knacking mates means satisfying your physical desires without any emotional commitment. On the other hand, a relationship involves mutual sacrifice, sincerity, faithfulness, honesty, care, love, and open communication.

Simply put, frequent physical intimacy doesn't necessarily mean you're in a relationship. Understand the difference to avoid being misled.

As Ini Edo humorously puts it, "Don't let someone knack you for years and call it a relationship!" 😊

A MÂLE CHILD OR NŌTHING
(Female children are ĹŤselĂŤss?)
EPISODE 2
"Nwa nwoke! A male child? They said you're carrying a boy? My son?" Ikenna asked excitedly and Olamma nodded her head with a fĂ ke smile plĂ stered on her face.
She knew what she went through in the hands of her husband when she gave birth to their second daughter and she didn't want a repeat of that episode.
Ikenna had refused to pĂ y the traditional midwife who took the delivery of their second daughter, in fact, he abĂ ndoned Olamma and her daughter in the traditional delivery home immediately after he was told that his wife gave birth to another girl.
Olamma spent days in the traditional delĂŽvery home but the midwife had to let her go and hĂťstle for the money when she saw that Ikenna didn't care.
Olamma didn't rèst before she began to work very hârd to pày up her dèbt.
Sometimes she followed people to the farm and sometimes she helped people to fetch water or firewood. She did all the menÎal jobs with her new bórn baby stràpped to her back and Ada, her first daughter holding on to the hem of her dress, scrèaming her hèad óff.
All that didn't bother Ikenna. He went about his business like Olamma and her children didn't exĂŽst. He fĂłrgot that Olamma used to accompany him to his farm and she was very hardworking.
They had bags of grains in their store but when Olamma pleaded with him to give her one bag of grain so that she could sell it and raise some money to pay the midwife, all hèll bróke loose.
That was the day that Ikenna started bèating Olamma. Someone that newly gave bÎrth to his child.
Olamma had to raise the money by herself since the midwife wouldn't stop embĂ rrassing her because of the money.
Ikenna left all his respĂłnsibilities for Olamma to take care of. He didn't care whether his wife and children were eatĂŽng or not. He thought that he had done his wife a huge favor by not sending her pĂ cking, so that was more than enough.
Ikenna and Olamma continued living likemere neb
