VeryDarkMan Reportedly Arrested by Nigerian Police in Abuja

Social Media critic, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has reportedly been arrested by the Nigerian Police Force in Abuja.

According to his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, the arrest took place at the Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) headquarters.

Deji stated that VeryDarkMan was taken into custody after speaking with police officers, despite no lawful grounds being presented for the arrest.

The lawyer described the arrest as "absolutely unacceptable" and a violation of VDM's right to demand accountability.

He emphasized that demanding accountability is a fundamental right and should not be criminalized.
