A Legacy of Ihsan: CIMCON Concludes 2026/1447 Ramadan Tafsir in Abuja with Call for Spiritual Rebirth.
ABUJA, NIGERIA – The Council of Ihsan Muslim Community of Nigeria (CIMCON) reached a spiritual crescendo today, Saturday, 14th March 2026 / 25th Ramadan 1447, as it hosted the official closing ceremony of its annual Ramadan Tafsir. The event, held at the heart of the nation’s capital, drew thousands of the faithful, community leaders, and distinguished scholars in a vibrant display of devotion and communal solidarity.
The Essence of the Message:
The lead Mufassir, Sheikh Uthman Umar Ataguba, delivered a profound concluding lecture on the 10 commandments enshrined in the Qur’an, an excellent lecture that resonated with the themes of spiritual excellence (Ihsan) and social responsibility.
Addressing the congregation, the Abuja Chapter Ameer (President) of the organisation Sheikh Al-Hassan Umar (SAN) emphasized that the true essence of the month-long Quranic exegesis lies not merely in the ritual of listening, but in the practical application of divine wisdom to address humanity's contemporary challenges.
"The conclusion of this Tafsir is not an end, but a beginning," Sheikh Al-Hassan declared. "We must carry the light of the Quran from this venue into our homes, our workplaces, and our national discourse. To practice Ihsan is to serve humanity with the consciousness that Allah is watching every action."
