This Saturday on Falon Khuraira: Honoring a Trailblazer in Nigerian Broadcasting – Mrs. Medina Dauda

Join us for a remarkable episode of Falon Khuraira as we sit down with the legendary Mrs. Medina Dauda — a veteran broadcaster and journalist whose voice has shaped the airwaves for over 40 years.

Medina began her journey in 1980 as an on-air personality at FRCN Kaduna National Station, handpicked by the late Alhaji Khalifa Baba Ahmed. She quickly rose to become Principal Presentation Officer before moving to FRCN Headquarters, Abuja in 1996 as a Network News Reader.

Her impact grew internationally when she joined VOA English to Africa in 1997 as a news stringer and later became a reporter for Africa Perspective, promoting democratic values across the continent. Since 2000, she has been a key correspondent covering Nigeria’s National Assembly for VOA Hausa and English Services.
