Me and Life - Finding Purpose
Episode 13

"I STRUGGLED TO KEEP MY BUSINESS RUNNING" USING OTHER PEOPLE'S GOODS.

I was in Business simply because I came up with an idea of collecting other people's goods and resell as mine for profit.

It was never easy for me, sitting and waiting on customers in hope that you make sales.

However, items on high demand were never readily available. Most times, when such items were requested and I couldn't provide them to meet the client's need, they would just turn away disgusted.

It continued like this for Months until one day, an idea came to mind that I should get an affiliate.

How did I achieve this spectacular idea? I simply went to few colleagues who were in the same line of business but had more resources than I do.

We negotiated, I would always run to them whenever there was a demand for goods with higher profit margin.

Let's say, I collected an item with the price of 10,000 then I would resell at 15,000. No transportation or any other expenses from my own end. I made pure profit with this move.

Most times, those extra cash made from such transactions helped me restock my own business. I would quickly go and get those items that were out of stock.

Running a business really takes courage, if you lack the fortitude to bear pain, you can't handle a business of your own especially when you have little cash support to keep the business afloat.

I was doing this for over a period of time until when some clients became impatient with the delay tactics.

The best part of my kind of business was that, for you to make more money you just have to get those items on high demand on ground and ready before people start to request for them.

I tried all there is to try and raised some support capital, I just couldn't get the very help I needed for my business to reach it peak. I guess life is really not fair to some of us.
