🚨 BREAKING: IRAN SIGNALS IT COULD WAIT OUT TRUMP UNTIL 2029 OVER THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ

Iranian officials are signaling that Tehran may have no intention of reaching a deal with President Donald Trump — and could simply wait until the end of his presidency in 2029.

Majid Shakeri, an adviser to Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, reportedly said Tehran should not expect an agreement with Trump and would “accompany him until his term ends.”

At the same time, Iran's Foreign Ministry has said the Strait of Hormuz will not reopen while the U.S. blockade remains in place.

Iran has previously demanded sanctions relief, an end to the U.S. naval blockade, compensation and guarantees against renewed attacks. Tehran has also sought a role in regulating shipping through Hormuz, including proposed transit-related fees.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: The claim that Iran has formally ordered Hormuz to remain completely closed until 2029 has not been independently established as an official government decision.

Iraq has issued a new warning to armed groups operating from its territory: any drone launched without government authorization will be treated as a terrorist act, according to Interior Ministry spokesman Miqdad Miri.

The warning comes as Baghdad moves to bring all weapons under state control ahead of its September 30 deadline. Iraq has already closed 71 unauthorized armed-group bases and says more than 500,000 weapons have been registered under its nationwide weapons-control programme.

Baghdad is drawing a line between state-controlled armed forces and militias conducting their own foreign policy.
