Always listen. Look at details. Focus. Listen again and continue the cycle repeatedly.
I was at this event, a meeting to be precise and the rate of listening was on a different level. Felt like I was in a seminar. I give it to the army. Their discipline is out of this world.
Had the honor of photographing Sen. Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua. That man is like the calm waters. In words and actions. Very meticulous!
As a creative, these are virtues to imbibe and if you’re found in an environment, examine the place and the people. Got a compliment from the other photographer that you’re so coordinated and calm. Butterflies started to do their thing😊. But deep down I was like nah invite me to cover wedding first or gbedu. That’s by the way though.
Lesson learnt: Always examine the environment you’re going to document and the people’s conduct, then act like them too. It makes the flow easy.
