I know why I’m saying this.
As a child, I was sexually abused by someone close to my family.
The painful truth is that child sexual abuse doesn’t always come from strangers. Sometimes, it comes from someone a child already knows and trusts.
So please:
🚨 Know who your child is staying with.
🚨 Teach them about body boundaries.
🚨 Give them the freedom to speak up.
🚨 Listen when they say they’re uncomfortable.
🚨 Don’t assume someone is safe simply because they’re family.
