🎬 PART 4: The Woman Before Her
The voice belongs to Chloe’s sister, Mara. She startles when she sees Anna. “Wait… you’re Anna?” she asks. “He told us you were a stalker. That you couldn’t let go.” Anna’s blood runs cold. “I’m not a stalker,” she says. “I was with him for six years.” Mara looks devastated. “You’re not the first. And I doubt you’ll be the last.” They sit. They talk. And Mara pulls out a letter she found hidden in Daniel’s car. It’s not to Chloe. It’s not to Anna. It’s to someone named Jade. And in it, he writes:
“I know you’re gone… but I’ll always love you more than any of them. You were my first. My last. They’re just echoes.”
Mara says, “Jade… that was his ex. She died in a car accident five years ago. But Daniel… never let her go.”

Anna drives to Fairview. She tells herself she just wants to see it. The house. The proof. When she gets there, her breath stops. It's beautiful. Perfect. There’s a red car parked outside — Chloe’s, the other girl. But there’s something else. A window left open. A curtain fluttering. Her curiosity wins. She slips in through the back. She knows it’s wrong. But so is betrayal. She walks through the hallway. Photos. Chloe and Daniel — smiling, baking, kissing. And then… a door. Locked. She finds a key under a vase. Inside that room: a single crib. Pink wallpaper. Baby clothes in a drawer. A name printed above the crib in gold letters:
“Aria”
Anna whispers, “They have a baby?”
Behind her, a voice says:
“She was supposed to be mine.”

🎬 PART 2: The Lie He Swore Was Love
He shows up at Anna’s apartment, soaked in rain, breathless. “She’s obsessed with me,” he says. “I was trying to end it. She won’t let go.” But Anna saw the way he touched her, the way she laughed like she belonged to him. “Why would she say I don’t know about you?” she asked. “Because she’s jealous,” Daniel lies. “You’re the one I care about.” But that night, Anna opens her laptop and something inside her tells her to check his name. And what she finds... chills her to the bone. A wedding registry. His name. The other girl’s name. And the wedding… is 6 weeks away.
The last item on the registry says:
“To start our forever, in the house Daniel bought for us in Fairview.”
Fairview… is where Daniel disappears every other weekend.

He told her she was the only person who ever made him feel calm. That when he was around her, the chaos in his head quieted. She believed him. For six years, Anna stayed — through silence, through almost-kisses, through midnight confessions that didn’t come with commitment. He was never hers officially. But she was always his — fully. Until the night she followed him. Until the night she saw him at the restaurant with another girl, holding her hand, saying the same things he used to say to Anna. But it wasn’t just that. It was what the girl said when she leaned across the table. Anna heard it clearly.
“So… does she know about us yet?”
Cliffhanger: Anna backs away from the window, heart pounding, and gets a text from Daniel:
“Don’t believe anything you hear tonight. Please. I’ll explain everything.”
