Data subscription dey clear throat.
Gas cylinder dey wink like, “Hope you remember me?”
Children school fees dey stand for door like bouncer.
And foodstuff? Omo, food no dey ever respect anybody again.

By the time you settle all these things, you go check balance and see something like ₦2,781.32.
Even your bank app go ask, “Are you still there?”

Adulthood no easy. Salary no dey stay. Money get wings… and it dey use Business Class fly comot.

Whatever happened yesterday is gone. Today is a blank page — write something beautiful with it.

I read Genesis chapter 1 to my sons today and something hit me afresh 👀

I suddenly remembered that domestic animals, wild animals and humans were all created on the same day Day 6 (Genesis 1). I’ve read it so many times, but somehow I “forgot” that detail until now.

It reminded me of how:
Sometimes you can read the Bible for years…
Then one day, a verse you already know comes alive in a new way.

God has a way of using familiar scriptures to give you fresh understanding in different seasons of your life.

Reading it to my children made it even more special.
It wasn’t just a Bible story anymore it became a moment of discovery and reminder for me too.

Lesson for me:
Never get too “used to” the Word of God. Even what you think you know, God can still use to surprise you and teach you again.
