🔥 I Followed The Route… But I Never Expected To End Up Here! 😳🏍️

While travelling on Project RMC, Emmiwuks spotted a route that seemed to lead towards his destination, so he decided to follow it.

But instead of taking him where he expected, the road led deeper into a quiet, bushy and rough area. 🌿🏍️

The further he went, the more unexpected the journey became.

At one point, Emmiwuks had to stop and rethink his route. 😳

So what happened next? Did he eventually find his way out and reconnect with the road to Benin City? 👀

This is one of those moments that reminds us that travelling is not always about the destination. Sometimes, the unexpected turns, unfamiliar roads and unforgettable experiences become the best part of the journey. 🌍❤️

🇺🇬 Wait… What Exactly Are They Drinking Through Those Long Straws? 😂

At first glance, this picture will definitely make you pause and ask: “What is going on here?” 👀😂

I recently came across this fascinating scene from Uganda and learned that communal drinking through long straws is a traditional practice in some Ugandan communities.

Traditional fermented drinks such as malwa, a millet-based beer, and ajon, made from fermented finger millet, are associated with different Ugandan communities and social gatherings.

But here's where my curiosity really begins… 🤔

Is this particular drink malwa, ajon, or something completely different?

And why do several people drink from the same container using long straws?

Beyond the drink itself, communal drinking in some Ugandan traditions can represent friendship, hospitality, togetherness and community bonding. It has also historically provided an opportunity for people to gather, socialize and discuss matters affecting their community.

The Man Who Mocked An Old Villager Learned A Lesson He Never Forgot ❤️

When he arrived in the village with his expensive car, everyone noticed him.

People gathered around, admiring his success.

But when Papa Chukwu, an elderly man he had known since childhood, walked over and smiled at him, the man made a careless remark.

“Papa, you’re still sitting here selling things?”

Papa Chukwu smiled calmly.

“My son, everyone has their own journey.”

He didn’t argue. He didn’t get angry. He simply went back to his little shop.

That evening, the rain came heavily.

On his way out of the village, the man’s expensive car got stuck in the muddy road.

He tried to move it, but nothing worked.

Then, through the rain, he saw Papa Chukwu approaching with a few young men.

They brought a rope and worked together until the car finally came out of the mud.

The man was quiet for a moment.

“Papa, after what I said to you earlier, you still came to help me?”

Papa Chukwu smiled.

“My son, kindness should not depend on how someone treats us. And having more today does not make us better than those who have less.”

The man lowered his head.

That evening, he drove away with more than just his car.

He drove away with a lesson about humility that he would never forget. ❤️

🔥 From Lagos To Calabar: Emmiwuks’ Journey Is Becoming A Story Of Resilience! 🏍️🇳🇬

What started as a motorcycle adventure is gradually becoming something much bigger—a story of resilience, purpose, people, and the courage to keep moving. ❤️🌍

Since setting out from Lagos on Project RMC (Round My Continent Africa), Real-Emmiwuks has travelled through several Nigerian states, experiencing the realities that come with life on the road.

🌧️ Rain came. He kept moving.
🏍️ A flat tyre came. He fixed it and continued.
💪🏾 Unexpected challenges came. He found a way forward.

But perhaps the most powerful part of this journey isn't the kilometres covered.

It is the people. ❤️

From strangers offering support to families opening their doors, riders coming out to welcome him, and people simply stopping along the way to say, “Keep going,” Emmiwuks continues to discover that a journey may begin with one person, but it can be carried forward by many.

And there is a purpose behind the adventure.

Through Project RMC, Emmiwuks is travelling across Africa, connecting with communities, discovering different cultures and stories, while also raising awareness for orphans and internally displaced persons (IDPs).

📍 NOW IN CALABAR, CROSS RIVER STATE 🇳🇬🌴

After leaving Uyo and overcoming another challenging start with a flat tyre, Emmiwuks has safely made it to Calabar.

And from his first impressions, the city has already given him something to remember—the clean surroundings, greenery, beautiful streets, and the warmth of the people. ❤️🌴

But this is only another chapter.

The road is still calling. 🏍️💨

Where will the next kilometre take him?
Which state will become the next chapter?
And what new people and stories will he discover along the way?

One thing is certain:

The road may be long. The challenges may come. But when there is a purpose, there is always a reason to keep moving. ❤️🏍️🌍

🌴 Calabar Is Already Making A Good First Impression! 🇳🇬❤️

Coming into Calabar, Cross River State, something caught Emmiwuks’ attention almost immediately.

Even from the entrance of the city, the environment already felt different from some of the places he had visited along the journey. The clean roads, well-maintained surroundings, beautiful greenery, and streetlights all gave the city a calm and refreshing appearance. 🌳✨

And the interesting part? He was only at the entrance of Calabar! 😍

If the city is already looking this beautiful from the entrance, then there’s plenty more to discover inside. 🌴🏍️

Calabar, you’ve already made a good first impression. ❤️🇳🇬

🏍️ Emmiwuks Finally Makes It To Calabar, Cross River State! ❤️🇳🇬

The road to Calabar wasn’t an easy one.

Today’s journey started with a flat tyre, adding an unexpected challenge before the ride had properly begun. But rather than give up, Emmiwuks fixed what needed to be fixed, got back on the road, and continued moving. 💪🏾🏍️

Despite the challenges, he has now arrived safely in Calabar, Cross River State. 🙏🏾❤️

Every state and every challenge continues to add a new chapter to this journey. It’s not just about the distance covered, but also about the strength, resilience, and people discovered along the way. 🌍

To the Uyo family, Emmiwuks sends his sincere apologies for not being able to meet everyone before leaving. The journey demanded more time and attention today, but the love and support are deeply appreciated. ❤️🙏🏾
