Gratitude for Victory ; Ovia Federal Constituency By-Election
With profound gratitude to Almighty God, I celebrate the resounding victory we achieved at the just-concluded by-election for the House of Representatives. This is not just my personal win, but a shared triumph for every son and daughter of Ovia a powerful affirmation of our collective resolve for progress and representation.
To the remarkable people of Ovia Federal Constituency, thank you for your trust, faith, and unwavering support. You have once again placed your confidence in me, and I remain committed to serving you with renewed dedication, transparency, and compassion.
My heartfelt appreciation goes to His Excellency, the Governor of Edo State Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo, and our tireless Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Dr. Dennis Idahosa, for their strategic leadership and support throughout this journey. I am especially grateful to the Deputy Governor for his active role in leading party leaders, stakeholders, and loyal supporters across the 23 wards of our constituency during the campaign. Your belief in me fueled our success.
To the national and state leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), I say thank you for your encouragement and for creating a fair and enabling environment that allowed our voices to be heard.
I extend warm appreciation to my fellow aspirants, your spirit of sportsmanship and solidarity showed great maturity. This is how we build a stronger and more united party.
On a deeply personal note, I express my heartfelt appreciation to my beloved parents, Their Excellencies Sir Chief Dr. Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion and Lady Cherry Igbinedion, whose legacies of service and excellence continue to inspire me. To my dear son, Prince Alexander Avan Akenzua, thank you for being my source of strength and purpose. To my siblings and the entire House of Igbinedion, thank you for your steadfast love, prayers, and unwavering support throughout this journey.
This victory is especially significant for women and youths. It serves as a bold reminder that our voices matter and that we belong at the table where decisions are made. I stand as a symbol of what is possible when we dare to dream and rise above barriers. To every young girl looking up and every young person seeking purpose, this is your moment too. Together, we will build an Ovia that works for all, especially for the next generation.
