FRSC £sts 1,691 motorists for overloading, f@k£ diplomatic number plates

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), says it has £sted no fewer than 1,691 persons for overloading, mixed loading, use of f@k£ diplomatic number plates and other off£nc£s within the last five days.

The Corps Public Education Officer (CPEO), Osundu Ohaeri, who revealed this in a statement on Monday in Abuja, also said that the arrests were made through the special intervention of an operation code named “Operation Guduma”.

Lagos delivers 362 roads in 1 year, vows to sustain infrastructure renewal

The Lagos State Government completed 362 roads spanning 347.17km and added 19,525 square metres of office space in the past one year, reinforcing infrastructure renewal and economic growth.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Infrastructure, Olufemi Daramola, and his Works counterpart, Adekunle Olayinka, gave the figures at the state’s 2026 Ministerial Press Briefing in Ikeja on Monday.

ADC: New judge fixes June 3 for Nafiu-Bala Gombe’s suit against Mark, Aregbesola

Justice Peter Lifu of the Federal High Court in Abuja has fixed June 3 for hearing in a suit filed by Nafiu-Bala Gombe, seeking to stop David Mark and others from parading themselves as leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that hearing notices have since been issued and served on lawyers to the parties in the suit.
