SOLOMON EWUGA:
THE PASSING OF A LION IN THE LAND!

The untimely passing to Glory of Senator Solomon Ewuga has left our people in grief and anxiety.

He was a brave and courageous leader full of passion and drive towards whatever goal he believed in!

From a humble background, Sen Ewuga rose through dint of hard work, dedication, and conviction to attain heights in leadership at various levels in the service of our nation.

He was a man full of drive and passion, which was often abused by political opponents and allies alike. Once he was convinced and took a position on a political project, he would take a plunge to pursue it without looking back.

His remarkable energy and wide network of friends across the nation saw him rise to different positions of responsibility in the service of Nigeria.

He was highly educated and learned and very fierce in pursuit of his life goals. He was a man of speed and action. He had no dull moment, no matter the challenges he faced in life.

In Eggon land, Sen Ewuga was a political phenomenon who rose to become one of the principalities in the politics of Nasarawa state.

His drive to lead his people often took him into political alliances with wily actors who wouldn’t reciprocate his trust and goodwill!

As a result, he was rigged out of many opportunities to lead both through the electoral process and in governance by ‘friends and allies’ who had different intentions for collaborating with him.

From 2011 onwards, Sen Ewuga went through storms and frustration from those he helped to power who wouldn’t keep any agreements or even empower him from the common proceeds of political victories achieved mostly through his support and boundless energy.

Sen Ewuga remained active through all phases of his political career no matter the circumstances. Even as his ill health debilitated his drive, he remained on the go in pursuit of the opportunity to serve the nation as the National Chairman of his Political Party.

When I visited him a few days before his last trip to Egypt, I was dumfounded by the pain he was going through; yet his eyes were full of life and hope.

We held hands and prayed together for his recovery and safe return. Unfortunately, this was not to be as he succumbed to this last bout of ill health, which he had borne with equanimity for years!

The Eggon nation and the people of Nasarawa State have lost a Lion at a difficult time of sustained pressures on all fronts against our liberties and political space.

An Iroko has fallen in our land!

May the Lord raise more Lions in the Savannah for the pursuit of our political preservation and dignity.

The Lord repose his noble soul with the Saints in Glory IJN!

Happy Sunday, champions!

As we step into this new week, let’s be reminded that true service is not measured by position, but by passion and purpose.

Every little effort you make towards the vision of a better society counts — every idea, every act of kindness, every sacrifice made in love.

The world changes when ordinary people commit to extraordinary causes. You are part of that change!

This week, let your light shine brighter.
Stay positive, stay united, and stay committed to making impact wherever you find yourself. Together, we move — with hope, integrity, and excellence.

Keep the fire of service burning.
Keep believing in the vision.
Keep moving forward! 🔥

Have a blessed and productive Sunday.

JOYFUL BIRTHDAY MESSAGE FROM LABARAN MAKU, CON, OON TO HIS DARLING WIFE AND OUR DEAR MUMMY ON HER 60TH BIRTHDAY!

CELEBRATION OF GOD’S GRACE, MERCY, LOVE, STRENGHT AND FAITH @60

My darling wife, today is your adopted day to celebrate God for your eventful life of mercy and grace!

We both dont have the record of the exact days we were born because we came from rural families who had no one to record our actual Birth Days!

We came into the world not in maternity wards surrounded by Nurses and Midwives;

We arrived through the hands of rural women who had never seen a doctor or midwife!

Yet the Lord saw us through without any blemish till today!

We both went to school by accident: as our parents didn’t have the awareness to train us through school!

By grace your uncle, Ahrenogbren Francis Ambi (the Lord bless his noble soul forever IJN ) took you to Lagos where you had the opportunity to attend school.

You were exceptionally brilliant and joyfully passed the entrance examination to Nigeria’s premier college, the Queen’s College, Lagos), but had no one to pay your fees because your late uncle wasn’t in a position to do so.

You had to return to the village (Wakama) to find any school that was affordable!

I had the same experience:

Taken to school by happenstance. I was exceptionally brilliant from day one and passed entrance examinations to three colleges:
But could only attend college through the mercy of God because of the introduction of Universal Primary Education (UPE) Programme by Gen Yakubu Gowon Administration.

Our lives are a very long story of grace and mercy that can’t be told in full today!

As you celebrate your adopted Birth Day today: It’s an occasion for Meka, Ashesla, Esla, Elizabeth, Ajigiku, Allu and Kigbu, and the entire Maku clan to celebrate God for His remarkable, grace and mercy and unfailing loving kindness!

Psalm 113 has always been my preferred Biblical praise song and reference to express God’s amazing love towards us.

We’re the children of Grace enveloped and raised in God’s abounding love and faithfulness!

Many often wonder why our doors are always permanently open unto everyone especially those from anonymous parental backgrounds:

It is because we see ourselves in them. we have been raised from Ground Zero unto the humble stations we have been to so far in order to raise as many others as possible along with us!

That explains why we have remained with our rural community and live as simple as we do because we refuse the temptation to escape from those bellow;

Rather we have chosen to live and work with fellow rural people in the hope that God may use the little opportunities he gives us to impact their lives and lift some of them too from where he raised us.

Our simplicity is not pretense; it’s our own way of telling Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour that we’ve not and will never forget His Love and Example to us and the World!

We’ve passed through so much with scars all over us from bearing the burden of others who are bowed down!

Thank you my darling wife for your exhibition of strength, patience and perseverance through these many years and decades of bearing the weight and concerns of everyone around us , and beyond.

May the Lord grant you unique strength, mercy, grace and the power that comes only from the indwelling Resurrection Glory of Christ as you cross into the 60th year of God’s love and faithfulness!

And may God grant you long life and divine heath of spirit and body, in joy, peace and true happiness in the decades ahead!

Even as we look forward to greater dimensions of God’s mercy and grace as the Lord continues to fulfill His purpose for our lives as a family and as a community!

We’ve just completed the 1st Half of God’s calendar of life for us!
May we experience more of His explosive love, mercy, grace and favour and impact in the 2nd Half that has just began!

May the later rain be far much more abundant than the early showers we have experienced thus far!

I and the children, we love you forever!!!
Congratulations!!!

We look forward to the trumpets, drums and dance as we set the date for the celebrations having postponed the initial date owing to the death of my elder brother and political icon, Sen Solomon Ewuga.

Happy Birthday to you my lovely wife!

The Governor of Nasarawa State has indeed acknowledged the deep poverty affecting the state.

This confirms that the concerns we’ve raised about the difficult living conditions of the people are not propaganda but reality.

What the citizens need now is concrete action, not mere lamentation — because people are truly suffering..
