Throwback to where it all began.
We reflect on our Inception Meeting on Knowledge Management and Learning in support of Social Protection, a pivotal engagement designed to introduce Knowledge Management and Learning to key stakeholders and highlight its importance within the Social Protection sector in Adamawa State.
This meeting created a shared understanding of what Knowledge Management and Learning means, why it matters, and how it can strengthen social protection systems by ensuring that experiences from implementation are systematically captured, shared, and used to inform decision-making.
Facilitated as part of GIZ’s effort to develop a strategy for integrating Knowledge Management and Learning into the Social Protection sector in Adamawa, the session brought together diverse perspectives, fostered collaboration, and reinforced the value of learning as a driver of effective and adaptive programming.
As we look back, we’re reminded that this meeting marked the start of a journey focused on strengthening knowledge-sharing systems, amplifying real stories and lessons from the field, and promoting evidence-based social protection in Adamawa.
