Stanley Omoh Didia, known as Omah Lay is a rising star known for his unique Afrobeat and R&B blend. With soulful lyrics and a voice that resonates with emotion, he’s not just a musician; he’s a storyteller. ‘s music has the power to transport you to different emotional landscapes, from the euphoric highs to the introspective lows.

Born on May 19, 1997 and hails from Port Harcourt, Nigeria, with a family deeply rooted in music, Omah Lay’s connection to the art was almost destiny. His grandfather was a talented instrumentalist, while his father was skilled with drums, setting the stage for Omah Lay’s own musical odyssey.

’s journey began as “Lil King” in a rap group, later transitioning to songwriting and production. April 2019, he released “Do Not Disturb,” and “Hello Brother” a month later, offering glimpses of his budding talent. His big break came when he signed with the KeyQaad record label in June 2019 and he crafted his debut EP, “Get Layd.
He featured on Olamide’s “Infinity,” and claimed the top spot on the Apple Music charts in Nigeria, and released another successful EP, “What Have We Done.” Also, “Godly,” from this EP, claimed the coveted number one spot, solidifying his position in the industry.

In July 2020, he featured in Apple’s Africa Rising Campaign and was named one of BBC Radio 1Xtra’s “Hot for 2021” artists in December 2020, made an impact at the Montreux Jazz Festival’s 20 artists to watch in 2021, BET recognized his talent by naming him the Amplified International Artist of the Month in November 2020, Also had four nominations at the 2020 Awards, where he won the Next Rated award.

He collaborated with Alpha P and in 2021 and 2022 demonstrating and solidifying his position as a global musical force. He has continued to drop more singles back to back up till date.
