Established in the 1982/83 session, it started with two departments: English and Literary Studies, and History (now History and International Studies).

EXAM CLEARANCE UPDATES

The Students’ Union, Ekiti State University Led by Comrade Martins Foluso Agbedamiro has announced an update on examination clearance requirements for the 2024/2025 second semester.

In their commitment to ensuring integrity and smooth examinations, the Union secured approval from the University Management for a new streamlined clearance system to ease students stress.

Under this system, only the signature of the Portal Management Chairman (PMT Chairman) is required for clearance—signatures from HODs, Faculty Officers, or other offices are no longer necessary. Any clearance form without the PMT Chairman’s signature is invalid.

Students are required to:

Print their clearance and course forms with the PMT Chairman’s signature.

Pay all outstanding fees, including the ₦500 SUG due, as this is mandatory for clearance and participation in examinations.

The Students’ Union emphasizes integrity, diligence, and the avoidance of exam malpractice, wishing all EKSUITES success in their exams.

- Check Your Status: Visit the EKSU Admission Portal (https://eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng/check_admission) using your registration number.
- Also Check JAMB CAPS: Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board platform for admission offers.
