The Letter That Never Arrived

For thirty years, an old man walked to the same mailbox every morning.

The villagers laughed.

"Who are you expecting?" they would ask.

He always smiled and answered,

"The day my letter comes will change everything."

Years passed.

His hair turned white.

His hands grew weak.

Still, every morning, he walked to the mailbox.

One afternoon, a young boy finally asked,

"Who promised to write to you?"

The old man looked at the sky and said,

"No one."

The boy was confused.

"Then why have you waited all these years?"

The old man replied,

"Because I wasn't waiting for a letter. I was teaching myself never to stop expecting tomorrow to carry God's goodness."

The village became silent.

They realized the old man wasn't living on empty hope.

He was living by faith.

Many people die long before they stop breathing.

They die the day they stop believing.
They stop praying.
They stop dreaming.
They stop expecting God to do something new.

The greatest tragedy is not that a miracle takes time.

The greatest tragedy is when a heart stops expecting one.

No matter how long you've waited...

Don't let disappointment become your identity.

The God who opens seas, raises the dead, and keeps His promises has not forgotten your name.

The storms around you are temporary, but God's promises are eternal.

When Peter focused on Jesus, he walked on water. When he focused on the waves, he began to sink. Whatever you are facing today, fix your eyes on Christ instead of your circumstances.

God is still in control.
