REVD DR UMA UKPAI ON HOW GOD HEALED HIS SON BORN CRIPPLE AFTER A NURSE INSULTED HIM

My first son was born cripple. Everyone mocked me, and I laughed. Why? They did not know every problem has a time limit.

The day my wife gave birth to our second child, her nurse asked me, “That your son, is he still cripple?” I said, “Yes, Madam”. And she said, “You are the biggest idiot in Nigeria. If God heals, why can’t He start from your house?”

I said, “Madam, having turned your mouth into a basket mouth, he will start now.” “Father what do I do?” God said, “Move from song to song; raise a song unto me. I will take over your struggle from you.”

As I was singing, the boy fell under the anointing and slept off, woke up and said to me, “Daddy, angels were here. They have strengthened my bones and my legs. I can now walk, dance, and run. And I said, “Please, demonstrate for me”.

I went to the hospital and told the nurse and my wife that the cripple boy was walking. My wife said, "Remember you are a Reverend with Assemblies of God Church and you are not supposed to lie."

When I insisted, she said that if she got home and it was true, she would give me a goat. We got home and the boy ran to meet her. My wife fainted. I said to her, "Madam, you didn't promised me fainting; you promised me a goat. Please stand up and give me my goat." She thought I was joking.

'Promise and fail' is a sin and I don't want her to go to hell. I drove my car to her father's house. I narrated everything to her father and protested that her father must produce the goat on her behalf. My father in-law looked at me and said, "Uma, you are too troublesome." I said, "No Sir. Can I have the goat?" He went to his animal house and a brought me the biggest goat there.

I don't know the situation around your life that has attracted mockery. From today, God shall turn your mockery into miracle, your shame onto fame and your disgrace into unusual grace!

My Grandmother always cooked tasty food. But one day, she put a burnt pie in front of my Grandpa.
Not just a little burnt, but black as coal.
I waited to see what my Grandpa would say.
But he just ate the pie n asked how my day was.
Then i heard my Grand Mother apologize to him for his dinner.
I'll never forget his response.
"Dear, i like ur pie."
Later, i asked him if he had told the truth.
He put his arm on my shoulder n said, "Ur Grandma had a tough day at work."
"She was tired."
"The burnt pie didn't harm me but, a sharp word could've hurt her."
We all make mistakes.
We shouldn't focus on mistakes but, support those we love.

VANITY UPON VANITY
Since I started following the story of the high rise building that collapsed at Ikoyi, so many lessons have been registered in my heart.

They made me sober and see this life from another perspective.

What millions of people are struggling to achieve, someone actually got it and it took his life.

If he hadn't gotten it, perhaps he might have concluded that God or perhaps life isn't fair with him.

What if you are told now that what you are desperate about to get will take your life, will you be humble enough to withdraw and give thanks to God.
May we never get things that will take us out of this life untimely.

That young Ile-Ife man left his family in U S to attend a wedding here in Nigeria. He was on his way to take his flight back only to branch off to see the project's progress. He was caught up in the collapse and his life ended there.

He entered the building when death was there and it took his life.
May we not enter where death resides oh Lord, lead us not into such place... 😭😭😭

The owner of the building went to the site with his escorts and orderly. When death came, everyone submitted their lives.

The family of the owner of the collapsed building is now battling over his properties and money in his account just a day or few after his body was recovered from the heap of the collapsed building. They waited to be sure his co**se was there before the battle ensued...

The Bible says, Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them.
Psalm:39:6

He heaps up wealth and riches but cannot tell who will enjoy them...
Another vanity under the sun.

This ugly incident is a proof that God can give a man power to make wealth and not give him power to enjoy it.

A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof,
