When I told my friend of Baba Gbenro’s death, his response was first off because he thought it was in the movie and I was being dramatic about it.

This is because I am usually infused into what I watch, especially series and I could make you feel it is reality to me.

Follow me.

Thinking about his death now and how his life has really inspired me to believe more in God and his miracles and also make sure God’s word is in every conversation I have, I am just reminded of how much work needs to be done by Christian creatives.

I was always one person who was determined to write every day till I die, and even have my new works read many years after my death, but what am I doing towards it? How am I living on the path to purpose?

Influence is real. Baba Gbenro has influenced me and so many of us today, but what would we be remembered for individually?

Yes, this not only reminds us that we can be influenced negatively and positively through the social media, but also that we can make impact through this same media.

So for every Baba Gbenro that has gone to be with the Lord, many more should arise and invade the space. Let us be many. We would be many. God must be felt regardless of whatever plans the devil has.

Rest on, great soldier. Your good fruits are here and shall never die.
