**2024 Annual Iwoye Celebration Day 2: Free Eye Screening & Table Tennis Tournament Final**

Day 2 of the **2024 Annual Iwoye Celebration** brings impactful activities aimed at uplifting the community. The day begins with a **Free Eye Screening** at Ago Iwoye Community Hospital, opposite Ago Iwoye Secondary School. Sponsored by **JMK Foundation**, the screening includes free eye tests, glasses, and medication, along with free surgery for some less privileged individuals.

Later in the day, excitement builds with the **Table Tennis Tournament Final** at Ago Iwoye City Hall, proudly sponsored by **GAB Foundation** and **Chiquita Farms**. Join us for a thrilling competition as we crown the champions!

Today marks the official kickoff of the 2024 Annual Iwoye Celebration with the traditional rites of **“Woro Plucking & Homage to EBUMAWE.”** This sacred ceremony is held to avert evil in the land and to offer prayers for continued peace and prosperity in Ago Iwoye. The rites will be followed by paying homage to the **EBUMAWE**, the revered ruler of Ago Iwoye, signifying the official commencement of the **2024 Iwoye Day Festival**.

As the week unfolds, various cultural, social, and traditional activities will proceed, bringing the entire community together in celebration of our heritage and unity. Let the festivities begin!
