ADA AMESI QUEENS VISIT SCHOOLS ACROSS THE COMMUNITY TO PROMOTE EDUCATION AND GIVE BACK
Amesi, Anambra State – May 8, 2025
In a heartwarming and inspiring display of community service and youth leadership, the reigning Ada Amesi 2025, Miss Cynthia Chidiogo Muorah, alongside the 1st runner-up, Miss Chidera Okpalauzuegbu, and 2nd runner-up, Miss Chidiogo Umechukwu, embarked on a philanthropic tour across all schools in Amesi community. The outreach, held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, was aimed at promoting educational excellence and rewarding outstanding pupils and students within the community.
The visit commenced in the early hours of the morning, with the queens and their team arriving first at Angel of Peace School, where they were warmly received by the pupils and staff. The queens interacted with students, encouraging them to remain focused and committed to their academic journey. Gift items were distributed to the top three students of each class, beginning from pre-nursery pupils to senior classes.
From Angel of Peace, the team proceeded to Central School Amesi, where a particularly touching moment unfolded. Deeply impressed by the brilliance of a pupil, Miss Chidera Okpalauzuegbu, the 1st runner-up, generously offered to pay the student’s school fees for an entire term—a gesture that brought visible joy and gratitude to the school staff and students alike.
Next on the itinerary was Community Primary School (County), where the queens continued their mission of inspiration and generosity. They addressed the pupils and staff, emphasizing the value of education and personal discipline. The top-performing students from each class were recognized with gifts, as were the most punctual and neatest pupils.
The tour continued with a stop at Charity Nursery and Primary School, where the queens received a warm welcome. Once again, gifts were distributed to deserving students, including awards for most punctual student and neatest pupil. Heads of schools and the most punctual staff across all schools were also not left out, receiving tokens of appreciation for their dedication and service.
The final visit was to Christ the Redeemer College (CRC), where the queens addressed a larger and older student body. Their message remained consistent—urging students to remain steadfast in their academic pursuit, avoid distractions, and uphold moral values. The top three students in each class from JSS1 to SS2 were rewarded, drawing cheers and applause from their peers.
Throughout the tour, the Ada Amesi queens were accompanied by the Youth Leader of Amesi, Dr. Kizito Nnadi, and his personal assistant, Mr. John Ezejesi. Their presence added weight to the outreach and reinforced the commitment of the AIU Youth Wing to youth empowerment and community development.
The Ada Amesi pageantry, which produced these inspiring young women, was held during the first-of-its-kind Amesi Youth Carnival organized independently by the AIU Youth Wing on January 3rd, 2025. This initiative continues to yield positive ripple effects, as the winners are not only ambassadors of beauty but also of service, leadership, and philanthropy.
This school outreach by the queens has left a memorable impact on the students and school staff of Amesi. It also stands as a shining example of what can be achieved when youth leadership is backed by vision, responsibility, and community spirit.
