Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, has showcased education sector successes under President Bola Tinubu at the Education World Forum (EWF) in London, saying reforms would impact generations to come.
Alausa said Nigeria has unified foundational literacy delivery under a single national standard covering formal and non-formal education systems.
He noted RANA for Primary 1β3 and Teaching at the Right Level for Primary 4β6 are being scaled across 15 states through UBEC, with structured lesson plans, coaching and assessments.
He said programmes like EKOEXCEL, KwaraLEARN and BayelsaPRIME are delivering measurable improvements in literacy and learning outcomes nationwide.
He added that foundational literacy and numeracy are central to the Renewed Hope Agenda, with a national policy being finalised.
