SAMMY EGBE'S DEATH: MY CONDOLENCES

The news of the sudden death of Sir Samuel Joram Egbe, a retired Permanent Secretary and leader of Ward five in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State filtered in as a deafening rumour on the media. It still sounds unbelievable but for the traumatizing pictures of his remains.

Sir Samuel Joram Egbe was an ardent chieftain of our great Party, and remained a front-liner till death.

He so much believed in the present administration led by His Excellency, Sir Dr Simialayi Fubara GSSRS , having contributed immensely for the victory of the party in Ahoada East Local Government Area in 2019 and 2023 respectively.

The sudden death of this noble knight of Saint Christopher is indeed a huge loss to our LGA, the State government, the Church , the Ekpeye kingdom and indeed, the good people of Rivers State.

While we leave his death in God’s hands and pray for peaceful repose of his soul, I, Honourable Rizzy Chibudhom Hezekiah Ezu wish to express my condolen

To strengthen the fight against insecurity in Ahoada East, the Mayor of Orashi, Honourable Rizzy Chibudhom Hezekiah Ezu has handed over fifteen motor bikes to Ahoada East Peace And Security Outfit ( AEPSAC) made of Hunters and local Vigilantes.

The Council Boss said the fight against criminal elements in the area is a collective responsibility and called on residents to report negative incidence to the conventional security agencies and the local outfits.

He maintained that the ongoing fight against insecurity will bring to an end unrests and threats to lives and properties.

The silent achiever of Ahoada East Local Government Area, Honourable Rizzy Chibudhom Hezekiah Ezu has taken delivery of six new transformers while fifteen of the old transformers are undergoing repairs all in a bid to ensure that the epileptic power supply being suffered by residents are addressed.

The Council Boss while handing over the transformers to Power distribution Company, urged them to ensure speedy installation of the transformers in the affected communities to improve on power supply especially during and after the YULETIDE adding that once the transformers are mounted,those living and doing business in Ahoada East will heave a sigh of relief and insecurity will be effectively checked especially at night.

EZU FELICITATES WITH MRS STEPHEN IHUA-MADUENYI ON HER BIRTHDAY

The Executive Chairman of Ahoada East Local Government Area, Honourable Rizzy Chibudhom Hezekiah Ezu has felicitated with the wife of the leader of Ahoada East Simplified Movement, Mrs Stephen Ihua-Maduenyi on the occasion of her birthday.

The Council Boss described the former first lady as the pillar behind the smiles of her husband and a supportive mother to all her children, biological and adopted.

The Mayor onbehalf of himself,his lovely wife, staffs and good people of Ahoada East wish the former first lady a joyful longevity.

*AHOADA EAST COUNCIL CHAIRMAN CHARGES COMMITTEE TO REDOUBLE EFFORTS BY ENSURING A HITCH FREE YULETIDE*

The Mayor of Orashi, Honourable Rizzy Chibudhom Hezekiah Ezu has inaugurated Xmas Gift/ Items committee and Ahoada East End of Year Peace Carnival committee, the two committees are headed by the Executive Chairman, Honourable Rizzy Chibudhom Hezekiah Ezu and alternated by the immediate past CTC Chairman, Honourable Happy Benneth and Gift Eke ( Muma Gee).
Performing the inauguration, the Mayor said the 2024 Xmas celebration will be exceptional because of the robust packages put together to make the Christmas and New Year memorable and remarkable.

The Council Boss enjoined the Gifts/ item committees to ensure that the thirteen Wards and non indigenes are adequately captured to put smiles on the faces of the people. He also spoke on the importance of the End of the Year Carnival, adding that peace has returned to Ahoada East and the only way to celebrate the return of peace is to gather the entire State and Niger Delta for a cultural display, this will boost investors confidence after all the tragedy faced by the people in recent time.

Speaking onbehalf of the Xmas Gifts/Items committee, the immediate past CTC Chairman, Honourable Happy Benneth thanked the Council Boss for finding members of the committee worthy of the appointment and assured him that the committee will be thorough in every sense by ensuring that the gifts /items meant for Xmas is distributed equitably to all the one hundred and seventy six units of Ahoada East. He affirmed that the era of neglecting voters in Ahoada East is over, this is time to put the people first in the politics of Ahoada East.

Also speaking for the End of the year Carnival committee, Rotr. Uwuma Awala extolled the chairman for the lofty iniative adding that the committee will not disappoint the council for the trust reposed in them. She said, members of the committee are persons with proven integrity,hence the need to deliver beyond the imagination of the Council Chairman. According to Rotr. Uwuma, this is the first of its kind and we will ensure that Ahoada East is turned an epic tourist centre instead of the ugly nickname of a Sambisa.

The non indigenes were included as members of the committee.

The Executive Chairman of Ahoada East Local Government Area, Honourable Rizzy Chibudhom Hezekiah Ezu welcomes everyone into the month of December.

In his new month message, the Council Chairman has promised the people that this season of celebration will be remarkable in Ahoada East with lots of programmes already lined up to make the LGA groovy adding that Ahoada East will wear a new look of development starting from Monday, December 2nd.
