My husband willed all his assets to our only son. Sadly, five years after our son was born, my husband passed away. Although it was a painful loss, I was comforted knowing that he had made provisions for our future and that my son and I would not suffer financially.
After his burial, his lawyer gathered the family to read the will. That was when I received the shock of my life. The will stated that all of my husband's assets belong to our son, but he can only gain full access to them when he turns 18. Until then, my husband's brother is to manage everything on his behalf.
The most disturbing part is that the will also states that I must marry my late husband's brother. If I refuse, my son will lose his right to inherit his father's properties.
Right now, I am confused and heartbroken. I do not want to marry my late husband's brother, but I also don't want my son to lose what his father worked so hard to leave for him.

You may not have everything figured out right now, but you are not behind in life.

Not everyone will understand your journey, and that is okay. You were not created to be understood by everyone, only to stay true to what is right for you.

Be careful not to lose yourself while trying to fix everything around you. Your peace matters too.
