So my Friend had a fiance, We never liked Him. He was so Stingy, Very Stingy. He never gave but was always ready to receive. He also blackmails Her emotionally. I for one usually ask my friend to break the engagement but she thought otherwise because their parents know about them.
We had a program in the church and we were told to dress up in our cultural attire. My friend was someone who likes to be all over the place, So she told everyone how she was going to get new attire, I kept wondering where the money is going to come from.
After Church service, I decided to hangout with her so we went home together. We met her fiance, oh ! Today is marriage counseling. So no more hangouts for me. Well, We could as well book a ride together, I might just drop at a mall.
My friend And her Fiance were discussing in hushed tones but as time went on it became loud. I think it was about the cultural attire and Her fiance telling her she doesn't need all that for a one day program. How stingy!
Then my friend started yelling, I decided to mind my business, After all why will I try to put asunder, I just plugged in my earphones.
You hit me ah! My friend screamed as she held her head! I quickly removed my earphones.
I didn't hit you stop doing this, Her fiance argued.
I know I didn't hear any sound of a person being hit, so, where is all this coming from. My friend was holding her head, there was a Thick scratch there. I quickly ran to apply ointment. Then I saw blood stains on the wall, Wow so maybe he tried to push her out of his way and she was hit. But no! I thought, this relationship must be over, he hit her and now she is bleeding, yes , He hit her, I made a mental note to clean the blood stains on the wall, the relationship is over. I cleaned up my friend's wound, While He stood explaining himself.
My friend quickly called her parents, Telling them the boy had been abusing her physically, I know he was manipulative but I also know he has never laid hands on my friend but anything to end this relationship.
Her fiance tried to explain but I countered everything he wanted to say, Nobody dares lay hands on my child, Her father said, the marriage is over, Call your parents.
"Ruth say something" her fiance cried. Say what ehn ,so you would beat me too right! He looked so confused, Where was that coming from!
At that spot, He received a call from his parents telling him how my friend's parents had called off the traditional marriage and every other plan! He was so confused and begged me to say the truth.At that point, I wish I could but my friend would feel bad. Well it might be for a purpose I thought.
He left the house and my friend giggled and screamed in Joy, I am finally single. It no longer felt right to me, But the deed has been done. I can't turn back ooo, No no it's already too late oo. Or so I thought.
It didn't end there, My friend's sister reported him to Human right and He had to pay off his bones in order to avoid being charged to court. He called me several times asking me to vindicate him but I must protect my friend. So no!

After a while, My friend purchased two Stanley cups and concluded that I wasn't in her league. Hmm! Wetin go do my steeze? Nothing oo. Life goes on.
So there was this Screening I was to partake in At National Defense Academy.
Filled with hope and assurance that I was going to pass, Hmmm, Everything was going well until, I looked up to the person to screen me and I heard.

Aren't afraid I would hit you too...?

THE SECOND COMMAND TO US

When i mean us, I mean youths, teenagers and all who created in the Image Of God.

Do not call the name of the Lord God in Vain

Hmmmmm! Calling God's name in vain. This isn't limited to Swearing by His Name. You can show disregard for God' s name in many ways.
•Saying or prophecies in the Lord's name that is not From Him is calling His name in Vain. As many have received the gift of prophecy or healing. When you aren't authorized or give a go ahead by the Lord, You should avoid " The Lord said" or " I hear in My spirit" Did you hear anything, why are you lying?
• Slangs: Many of Us are guilty of disregarding God's Name through the use of Slangs. We hear people say it and we don't feel it bad.
Most times we call on the name in Jealousy and envy through the use of Slang( GOD WHEN). We make inappropriate slang like( Ask God, question bro J). Most times this is often offensive and disrespectful as the case maybe.
• Honor God in your speech, Most times we tend to make Joke or unserious comment about things that happen around us which usually dishonour God.
• Disrespecting other religion, That you are a Christian doesn't make Muslims condemned, No they are not. That you are a mountain of fire member doesn't make Celestians less Religious. No, they are also religious. That you are going to the Pentecostal Church doesn't make Catholic or Anglican Diabolical. Learn to respect people's religion, Instead of condemning mind your own lane and focus on your own personal development.
After death your church won't matter anymore, Your G.o won't, your Pastors won't, Your priest won't,Your bishop won't, Your pope won't, What will matter is YOU and How you lived you life. So stop codenming and start focusing on development.
• Disregarding Holy or scared Items, That you don't read Qur'an, or bible, or pray Tashib or The Rosary doesn't make it wrong. Stop criticizing God is Honored Through them, Who are you then? A mere creature of His own Hand to mock, question or criticize them. Stop saying sacratic things to hurt those who believes in it.

THE FIRST COMMAND TO US.

*When i mean us, I mean youths, teenagers and all who created in the Image Of God*

WORSHIP NO GOD BUT ME
What does it mean to worship, worship is an act of giving utmost importance, attention or devotion to someone or something, such as a person, item or even a hobby.
If it means giving utmost attention, then I am also guilty🥺😯, my phone! I give attention to my phone! What about you? What do you pay attention to the most? Your phone, your BFF, your Skin, your hair, clothes, your boyfriend, your girlfriend, your ex, your past! What or who do you place as the most important in your life? Your friends , money, Fame or engagement on your social media platforms. Dear, I put it to you, we are already worshiping other gods.🥲
Whatever takes your time, that time you should spend talking to God, paying attention to Him and devotion time and resources to Him. Build a relationship with God, prioritize Him first, Let Him be your topmost priority.
You shouldn't wake up, put on your data and start pressing your phone, instead put on your armour of gratitude and thank Him for another day. Don't watch reels till you fall asleep, instead praise Him till you fall asleep.
Don't wake up, rushing to talk to your boyfriend or girlfriend or sending apology letters to your ex🙄, be in a haste to spend time with Jehovah, thank Him and let Him take total control of your day.
And don't let your boyfriend or girlfriend or your ex be the last person you talk to, Let Him be.
When you are about to make a decision, when you are happy, scared, worried, filled with hope or fears, talk to Him first. Don't be tried or too familiar with His presence.
And our dear dons, your book shouldn't be your first contact or last contact of the day, Let your Bible be instead.
Worship Him. Reverence Him,Pay attention to Him, Let Him be your best friend.

Courage dear, your sins are forgiven.
Even before He died on the cross; when imperfect sacrifices were still been made; He forgave sins.

He has given us the authority to pick our beds and go home. What is that bed? That sin you resting on, He calls us to pick up our that little piece of bed that sin and go home to the father.. Go home, no sin of yours is greater than God's love for you. Your bed can't be bigger than your house.

Jesus is here for you! Yes! You! Not only for G.O or your pastor or your Rev. Father. He is here for everyone as many that are sick, depressed, frustrated, outcast, bullied, pained, unjustly treated, abused, labeled, all of us! Jesus is Ready to have a meal with us. ARE YOU READYYYYY!!?
We all carry fresh graces; never pour out your graces into your old skin of sin.
Believe! Have faith; it does not look possible but tell Jesus " JUST THE HEM OF YOUR GARMENT"

Never doubt Christ because His mercy and grace is ever sure.
Proclaiming Christ is not easy, because you won't be able to offer the world what they want, you won't be able to say what they want to hear! Their expectations and your reality will be two worlds apart Are you ready to face it?
If you don't violently pray before God, you will be violently crushed in the world.
You can't be good for everyone, everyone can't be good for you. So trying to impress, or wanting some to impress you will be....
Even though lots of messages, bills, contents, dressing, actions speaks about Christ many people still turn deaf ear. Hmm mm..
Learn to be thankful, learn to pray!
God has given us the wisdom and knowledge that many great people don't have are we ready to make use of it?
Jesus is a direct and painless way to the father are you ready to journey with Him?
The load of sin you are carrying is too heavy, let go of it , learn from Jesus. He is ready to give you a light load and an easy yoke.

The importance of staying in His presence.

Dinah the daughter of Jacob and Leah, Was a very beautiful girl, Her father protected her and her brothers loved Her so much that they won't allow any harm go to her. Her family lived near the Land of cannan.
One day, Her brothers went into the field, Dinah was bored and decided to visit the Land of Canaan.

Dinah: ( Dressing up) Since, no one is around except my father let me quickly go to Canaan to visit those women I saw the last time I went to fetch water. I will be back before my brothers come back.
( She hurries out and shuts the door gently)
This is the same way most of us leave the presence of God, We feel we have waited enough and there by we want little adventure.

ON GETTING TO CANAAN
Dinah: Wow! This Land is so beautiful and homely. Awwn see the way everywhere is lively. Wow! I wonder why my father never allows me to come here. Hmm! Well here I am now! ( She jumps excitedly)
When we first move out of the presence of God, it seems so great, we feel as though we are free from a long lasting chain. You see yourself as being wise but will that last forever?
Dinah: ( Sights the girl she saw at the stream, Jumps happily to meet them). Hey! Hello, am Dinah, the girl you met at the stream yesterday. Do you recognize me?
Girl 1: Yes, We do, but how come, How did your father let you out of the house?
Dinah: Oh!He was busy, So I quickly sneaked out, Staying at home is sooo boring.
Girl 2: I thought as much,Come let's show you around. And lest I forget, You look so beautiful and your dress compliments your skin.
Dinah:Awn Thank you!
Girl 1: That's true, Can you get some Fabric for us when next you are coming.
Dinah: Sure.
Girl 2: Come let's show you around.
( The three girls move around the town)
The Journey out of His presence seems to be a great one but again, How long will it Last?

( The three girls Passed the House of the chief of the region, And his son Shechem was seated on the roof top with his friends)
Shechem: Woops. Did you see that girl that just passed with my sister.
Boy 1:(Stretches his neck) Yes I also noticed her..
Boy 2:,The girl is so beautiful but ...
Shechem: Her dressing looks different, Am not sure she is from this town.
Boy 2: Yea, She is dressed like an Israelites..
Shechem: Wow! Israelites! Hmm. She is so beautiful and her dressing is so nice.
Boy 1: Hmm! This one you are praising her like this. Since she is with your sister, Tell your sister to talk to her now.
Shechem: Hmmm that's true though.

TROUBLE IS BREWING!!!

Shechem sents for his sister.
Girl 1: Brother, you sent for me.
Shechem: Yes i did, Who is that girl you were walking with?
Girl 1: Oh Dinah! She is an Israelite, She came to visit, Any problem.
Shechem: I like her, can you talk to her for me.
Girl 1: No, big brother not this one oo. They have strict moral conducts, Her father and brother will not even spare a glance at you.
Shechem: (Angry) Have you forgotten who I am! I am the most important in this family. Who are her brothers, that I should worry about them. I am Shechem and anything I want, I get!
Girl 1: So sorry big brother for upsetting you.
Shechem: Where is she? Bring her to my presence!
Girl 1: ( Trembling) OK big brother ( She runs out)

Girl 1 goes to see Dinah.
Dinah: Where have you been, I was searching for you.
Girl 1: Let's Forget about that for now, My brother wants to see you.
Dinah: Your brother, me, no please, am not with my maidservant.
Girl 1: Maidservant! What do you need her for?
Dinah: I can't see a man alone, I must go with someone.
Girl 1: Oh that, I will go with you now.
Dinah: No thanks it's time to go home.
Girl 1: Please, I beg you as a friend, please, Just this favor.
Dinah( Feels reluctant) Alright, promise you will be with me throughout.
Girl 1: Sure.

After leaving His presence, We still go ahead to compromise, How long will we put up with it?

Dinah in Shechem room.
Shechem: Dinah right!
Dinah: Yes, You requested to see me.
Shechem: Yes i did ( Signals to his sister to leave)
Dinah: ( Notice the movement) Where to?
Girl 1: I will be back in a jiffy. Let me quickly get water for my brother. ( Quickly runs out and shut the door)
Dinah:( So uncomfortable but she can't leave)

That is the same way we feel after being out of His presence for so long. We feel weak and uncomfortable yet we feel we can't leave. But yes we can leave at any point we feel lost, we can run out of that door to our father. The door might be Locked but the daughter of a warrior is a warrior. No matter the Kind of door shut against you, Don't just be still, Do something, Try, your father can't forsake you.

Dinah: Please why did you call me.
Shechem: I like you and I want you to be one of my wives.
Dinah: We don't intermarry I'm sorry.
Shechem: Are you refusing me! ( Storms the table in anger and pulls Dinah to Himself ) I am Shechem and i get anything I want!

Few minutes later, The deed has been done.
Dinah:( Weeps loudly) You won't escape this.
Shechem: ( Thinks to himself. "Wow, She is so nice, I must marry her) So sorry, I have already told you ,I will marry you, so stop making a show out of nothing.
Dinah:( Tears filled) ( Quickly dresses up and runs out)
She went home and hid in her room, Sobbing so Loud.

What if Dinah has stayed in her Fathers Presence, What if she has remained under the protection of her father house? What if you weren't tired of God's presence and you remained with Him? What if you didn't take that step? What if you didn't go to the other part of the world to explore? What if you don't Pay a visit to Land of sin?

And you, who is tired of the presence of your father, Do you want to lose your value like Dinah? Do you want to be an object of mockery? Do you want sin to give you a moment you can't forget? No matter, how long it may be, remain in the Presence of Abba Father. Don't move an inch. Don't make a costly mistake.

And you, Who have already fallen, EVEN NOW, He is ready to welcome you home. He has forgotten about that moment you left His presence. He is searching for you. Dinah! Dinah! Dinah! Every day He calls, He wants you back from Canaan, You are going there it is your Land but not now! Just come How, Your father isn't angry, He never was. Stop hiding, come to Him.

Who is the snake?

Satan? Oh Yes!. But sometimes we can also be the snake by trying to be wiser than God.
Remember the instructions"You may eat all the fruit in the garden but the fruit of good and evil, don't eat" .
Temptation
Temptation will come, God could have removed the tree of good and evil from the garden or guarded it with celestial bodies, this is to tell us or show us that God is aware of that pressure to sin that is weighing us, He knows about the temptation.
But He wants us to stay away from that tree, that bad behavior, that phone, that garment of sin, He wants you to stay away from it.
Run away, Run far away from sin! He has given us the grace to stay away.
Can we stay away from sin and truly run the victorious race.
But Adam And Eve disobeyed because they wanted to be like God. You can't be like everyone, you can only be like you.
If you keep thriving to be like MR A OR MR B.
You might end up losing it all. Eve's single desire was to be like God and she ended up destroying her Home and Gods' plans.
So make sure you fail to fall, that is; fail to fail.
We should also learn to stop casting blame when we fall short of God's grace, stop blaming the devil or your predicament, Feel sorry for your sins and ask God for mercy.

Little girl I tell you rise up.

Jesus told the little girl of 12 years to rise up, after all the pains her parents had felt thinking they lost her. After the people have declared her dead. What is that dying in your life, What is causing you or those around you pains, What have people declared dead in your life?
It might not necessarily mean a physical death, it can be your light, your talent, your glory, your joy even your smile! What is dying in your life, What have people considered dead in your life? Your business, your finances, your academics, your children, your destiny, your career? What is that?
Jesus is telling you today, to rise up. He is telling your destiny, rise up! Your academic, rise up! Your talent, rise up! Your family, rise up! Your finances, rise up! Every dying part of you, rise up!
You may be going through pains, a lot might have happened, a lot of death might have taken place. Tears might have flown, but He is telling you now, to rise up from the place of weeping and like the little girl,get up and start walking;
God didn't create us for oppression, He didn't create us for death, He created us to conquer the earth and subdue it. So we must arise from our place of weeping and walk around again.

Arise and Shine

Arise means to come into existence or better still rise to ones' feet.
Shine means to be bright, to emit light.

Why are you still on the floor? Why are you not shining yet? Why is darkness hovering around you?
Darkness symbolizes hatred, problems,rampant challenge, Sin, grudges, Constant rejection, depression, Fear,sickness, worry, failure, disappointment, insecurity. All these and many more are dark aspects of our lives. Many of us are experienced one or more of the aforementioned, but there is a reassurance.
The reassurance is that God is interested in you. He is interested in your case. He isn't coming to condemn you, He is coming to embrace you. He wants your light to shine forth. Arise now, go to your father, His hands are opened to receive you, Come to Him with a heavy load of pain and depression, He is ready to take us out of darkness into His marvelous light. That hopelessness, that insecurity, that pain, you have buried yourself into, rise from it, its time to shine. Arise from darkness, Go to the Father, So that light may be seen in your life and you shall emit light.

Please can we all stop blaming mr. Serpent, I finally got his part of the story. He didn't force Eve ooo, He just suggested oo.

Adam:Eve, look at this fruit of the tree at the middle oo. It looks so edible and attractive.
Eve: I thought you said God said we shouldn't eat any fruit from that tree.
Adam: Did i say I want to eat it? Women and deep thinking.🙄
Eve: But it's actually nice! I wonder why God said we shouldn't eat it cause I am tired of the other fruits.
Adam: Let me go and check on the Leopard that Gave birth yesterday.
Eve: ( Still staring at the tree) Okay. Greet MR Lion for me oh.
Adam: ( Nods and leaves)
Eve: (Still staring at the tree) Hmm. ( Mades to leave)
Hears a hissing sound, Eve looks down and sees a snake, She admires his skin and watches him come forward.
Snake: Hmmmmm, This garden looks so Nice, and all the fruit are so attractive.
Eve: Yes oo. Hmm . God is so creative, See how beautiful everywhere is.
Snake: Ehn that true, but why did He say you and Adam shouldn't eat the fruit of the trees in the garden.
Eve: Why did you like saying another thing, Who told you that one again. Ehn. He didn't say we shouldn't eat the fruit of all the trees in the garden. He said only the tree at the middle. So stop saying what you don't know.
Snake: (Walks around the tree) Do you notice that this fruit looks special? It not having the same height, colour. Did you notice?
Eve: ( Mouth watering) Ehn that's true.
Snake: Do you know why He asked you to eat it?
Eve: No oo, I don't know why. He only said it was a tree of knowledge. ( Swallows spittle)
Snake: Exactly my point! God is wise and has all knowledge andeating this fruit will make you know all that is good and evil.
Eve: Wow, but God said if we eat of it we shall die.
Snake: Die keh! Did you not eat other fruits, did you die? How can a good looking fruit kill you?
Eve: And it is true ooo.
Snake: Taste it and see if you won't be like it.
Eve: Hmm ( Looks around and pluck out a fruit) Hope I wont die?
Snake:Nothing will happen.
Eve:( Takes a small bite) And it is sweet o.
Snake :( Slowly creeping away) I told you so.
Eve: ( Takes a bigger bite) Hmmm. Thank you so much snakie.( Looks around but can't find snake) Where did He go? Hmm! Let me tell Adam about this.

EVE FINDS ADAM IN THE OTHER SIDE OF THE GARDEN
Eve: Adam, Adam!
Adam: Hmm! What is it My wife? (Notices the fruit Eve was holding) Ahh! Why did you eat this fruit, why did you even pluck it? Ahh.( Moves back)
Eve: Well, Snake came to me and told me the benefits of eating the fruit. And the fruit is so delicious. He said eating it will make us be like God.
Adam: Like God! Wow!But is it actually necessary to be like God?
Eve: Yes, it is necessary, Don't you want to be very wise?
Adam : Hmm, yes. (Collects the fruit from Eve and takes a big bite)
It's so delicious.
Eve: Adam, what is this? Why are you looking different?
Adam: Different how.( Looks at Eve and suddenly looks at himself) Ahhhh! Yeeh! What have we done?
Eve: We need to find a solution, Let sew leaves together and cover our selves I feel so ashamed.
Adam: ( So sober) I Think it is a good idea.
( *************)

Desire, Even before the devil tries to tempt or persuade us, What are we desiring for? If we are desiring the rewards of sin, We make the work easier for the devil. Let's Learn to control and watch our desires. Desires paves way for sins.

People: We are Hungry. Did you bring us here to Die? You could have left us In Egypt! Did we ask you to bring us out?🥶
Moses: Hmmm! The Lord will provide.

People: Moses! Moses! Snow like flakes are all around the camp!
Moses: That is the food the Lord has provided for you.
People: Are you sure cause we have never seen this before.
Moses: Hmm🙄
People:Let's sha eat.
Moses: Please take only the food that will be sufficient for you today, do not leave till the next day.
Mama Akubi: No, ooo Akubi Will have to eat as early as 4pm
Amaka : How sure is He that food will rain tomorrow.
Emeka: Since we Left Egypt I haven't gained profit from my firewood business, Lemme pack Extra so I will sell because I am sure this Food won't fall tomorrow.
NEXT DAY
Moses in His tent praying.
People: ( Banging the door) Moses! Moses! What kind of food is this ehn! Just yesterday oo and now it is filled with worm! Hmm!
Come to our tent and notice how everywhere is smelling rotten!
Moses: What did I tell you yesterday? 🙄🙄
People: But..
Moses: ( Slams the door)

A DAY BEFORE SABBATH
Moses: Bake and Boil enough! There will be no Food tomorrow.
Abali: We will gather them later!
Mummy Akubi: No, oo so it will spoil again right?
Emerald: You won't tell me how to live my life just because you are a Prophet.
Gift: Leave Oga Moses joor, He too do, always looking for what to say! How can what usually fall every day not fall today.

NEXT DAY
People: Moses! Moses! Food didn't fall today ooo. And we are so Hungry. Why didn't you leave us in Egypt.
Moses: What did I .... (Slams the door)
People:🙄🙄

Obedience, Are we always obedient to what God tells us? God will not come down to give us instructions but He has given us His word( the bible), He has placed people in our lives our parents, our priests, our pastors, our counselors but How ready are we to obey them? Like Gift Do you think people giving you instructions are troubling you because the instructions isn't suiting your desires?
