*A TRIBUTE TO AKURE KINGDOM AND HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY*
*_In Commemoration of the 10th Coronation Anniversary of Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II, CFR_*
In the vast canopy of Yoruba civilization, where crowns are not mere ornaments but ancient repositories of ancestral legitimacy, Akure Kingdom stands resplendent, an epicenter of culture, authority, and unyielding prestige. She is not merely a city but a citadel of dignity, whose throne has, for centuries, radiated wisdom and nobility.
Today, we doff our symbolic caps and beat the gongs of history in honour of His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Deji of Akure land, a king whose reign epitomizes architectural intellect, cultural renaissance, and monarchical dignity. His ten-year sojourn on the throne has been nothing short of divine orchestration, marked by unrelenting advocacy for tradition, unity, and institutional excellence. Under his imperial watch, the palace has not only remained the spiritual soul of the people but also the political compass of equity and vision.
Akure, the kingdom of regalia and reverence, salutes her ancestral stewards; the venerable Olisa, custodian of royal transition; the indomitable Odopetu, guardian of order and defence; the sagacious Elemo, whose authority over rituals binds us to the gods; the wise Aro, the mouthpiece of elders; the resolute Ojomu, anchor of market harmony; and the ever-noble andAsae, whose voice graces the earth with peace. Together, they form the timeless council of continuity that strengthens the Deji's palace as the bastion of undying tradition.
As I OloriAjibobare, the golden matron of royal grace and orature, lifts my voice in ancestral rhythms, the panegyric I offers is not merely a song; it is a tapestry of historical affirmation, an oral diadem to crown a decade of regal resplendence.
Long may the throne endure,
Long may the people flourish,
Long may Akure reign supreme.
