*DATE:* THURSDAY, 14TH MAY, 2026

THEME: A NEW SEASON _(Revelation 21:5)_

TEXT: Revelation 21:5 - _“And he who was seated on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new!’ Also he said, ‘Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."_

MESSAGE:

Shalom!

A new season doesn’t start with your effort, it starts with the One seated on the throne.

God isn’t patching up the old. He says _“I am making all things new.”_ That means a new quality of life, a new way of seeing, a new door of opportunity that couldn’t exist in the last season.

But notice the condition: something has to pass away for the new to come. Let go of what God has marked for ending — the mindset, the habit, the relationship, the striving that kept you stuck. You can’t step into the new while dragging the old.

And hold this word: _“These words are trustworthy and true.”_ Your circumstances may not look new yet, but God’s promise doesn’t depend on what you see today. It depends on who He is.

So this week, position yourself to perceive what He’s doing. Ask Him what He’s ending and what He’s beginning. Align your heart, and trust that the new season He brings is centered on one thing: closer fellowship with Him.

*PRAYER*
Father, thank You for making all things new. Help me to let go of the old that hinders me and to recognize what You are doing now. Establish the work of my hands and let Your presence go with me now and forever more, In Jesus’ name, Amen.

*PERSONAL DECLARATION*
I declare that I am entering a new season. God is making all things new in my life, my family, my work and my ministry. I walk in God's favour, peace, and purpose henceforth.

*LEARN THIS, PLEASE*
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
_Jeremiah 29:11_

God, our heavenly Father, thinks ahead. This was why He did not get stuck while He was creating the earth. He had everything figured out. He knew exactly what He wanted and the order in which He wanted them. God has a clear picture in His mind concerning your life. It begins with the salvation of your soul and ends with you spending eternity in heaven.

He planned you before you came into this world. You are not a mistake. No human being is. It is now your responsibility to plan how you will live your life to please Him. Plan because God wants you to. Do not leave the issues concerning your life to chance. Think ahead and work hard. There is no wisdom in living without a strong desire to achieve success and fulfil the purpose of God for your life.

As you make plans and work towards them, God will help you. Remember that the Lord did not pull the man by the pool of Bethesda up. He asked him to get up even though He knew he was sick. Also, Jesus did not go to blind Bartmeaus. He did not also take the blind man to Siloam after He anointed his eyes with spittle and clay (John 9:11). The man was to go himself. Your miracle is in you believing and acting upon the Word of God.

God has a great plan for you in Christ. Make your own plans about how you will fulfil His plan for you. Time is not waiting for you. Do not delay. Have a plan for your future. Don't waste anything God blesses you with. If you fail yourself, you will bear the brunt. According to a dear brother, the best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.

A sister regretted the fact that she did not plan for her retirement. She had lived her life believing that the future would be better without doing anything specific to make her desire real. After she stopped working, she started suffering. Prayerfully plan everything. The Lord is pleased when we think ahead because we know He is always there to help us.

*PRAYER GUIDE*
1. Praise God for His steadfast love and plans for your life.
2. Pray for the mercy of God if you have not been intentional about fulfilling the purpose of God for your life.
3. Ask the Lord to help you to live a life of purpose. Pray for the wisdom, understanding, knowledge and strength to be the person God has created you to be.
4. Ask the Lord to lead you in the path that you should go. Put your future in His hands.
5. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Ask the Lord to encourage missionaries today. Thank Him for the answers to your prayers.

JUDGE ME BY THE PEOPLE I AVOID

You can tell a lot about a person by who they hang with. But you can tell even more by who they, walk away from.

"Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character." - 1 Corinthians 15:33. You’re not “acting brand new.” You’re protecting your anointing. Not everyone deserves access to your table. Some people are assigned to your famine, not your future.

"Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm." - Proverbs 13:20
Your circle is either an elevator or a cemetery. If they gossip about everybody to you, they’ll gossip about you to everybody. If they mock your discipline, they’ll celebrate your downfall.

"Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked" - Psalm 1:1 David didn’t say “blessed is the popular.” He said blessed is the separate.
Separation isn’t rejection. It’s protection. It’s elevation. It’s preparation.

"Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord." - 2 Corinthians 6:17 Jesus ate with sinners, but He didn’t partner with them. He loved everybody, but He didn’t trust everybody. He had 12 disciples, 3 close friends, and 1 betrayer. Even Jesus had boundaries.

"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." - Proverbs 4:23. Guarding your heart means guarding your ears, your eyes, and your environment. Some people are portals. When they walk in, peace walks out. Avoid them.

The truth is, you don’t lose real friends by growing. You lose spectators. You don’t become “holier than thou.” You become “wiser than yesterday.”

So yes, judge me by the people I avoid:
I avoid the bitter.
I avoid the envious.
I avoid the ones who drain but never pour.
I avoid the ones who want access without accountability.

Not because I’m better. But because I’m better off.

Your destiny is too valuable to be democracy. Be selective. The people you tolerate today become the problems you fight tomorrow.

Type “I CHOOSE WISELY” if you’re done with bad company. đŸ™đŸœ
