Church Activity Is Not the Same as Genuine Repentance.

Many people are actively involved in church, but church activity alone is not proof that a person has genuinely repented and surrendered his or her life to Christ.

A person can attend church every Sunday, participate in church programmes, sing, pray, give offerings, attend Bible study, and still have a heart that has not truly turned away from sin.

Matthew 7:21 (KJV): “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”

This shows us that calling Jesus “Lord” with our mouth is not enough. Genuine salvation produces a life that desires to obey God.
