If nurses in Nigeria were paid at least ₦700,000 monthly, would they still JAPA?

Let’s be honest.
Most nurses wouldn’t.

If the average entry-level nurse in Nigeria earned around ₦700,000 monthly —
and those with 2, 5, or 10 years of experience earned even more,
many of us wouldn’t be packing our bags to the UK, US, or Canada.

Because the truth is — it’s not the “abroad” that nurses are chasing... it’s opportunity.

But here’s the beautiful twist —
technology has changed the game.
You can now JAPA digitally without leaving Nigeria.

You can work, school, and earn in the US, UK, France, Canada, or anywhere in the world —
while living right here in Nigeria.

You can earn in dollars.
You can earn in pounds.
You can earn in euros.

It’s been a minute since I showed up here, — and honestly, it’s been for a beautiful reason.

The past two weeks have been a season of commitment, courage, and growth as I wrapped up the first cohort of my Tele-Nursing Mentorship Program.

When I started this journey, I wasn’t completely sure how everything would unfold. But looking back now, all I can say is — God truly came through! 🙏

From uncertainty to courage, from planning to ex*****on, from showing up every single day to seeing results — it has been a truly transformative experience.

My mentees showed up with dedication, passion, and hunger to learn. I’m so proud of each of them for how far they’ve come.

Their growth, feedback, and testimonials have been nothing short of amazing — and they reminded me why I do what I do. 💫

And even as a mentor, I’ve also learned, unlearned, and relearned so much. This journey has stretched me, strengthened me, and deepened my passion for nursing mentorship and digital health transformation.

I’m grateful to God for grace, wisdom, and strength to walk this path — and for every mentee who trusted me to guide them through this phase.
