LATE DEACONESS EKA-ETE OKON JOE EKPIMA JOINS THE HEAVENLY CHOIR

The family of Late Deaconess Eka-Ete Okon Joe Ekpima announces, with deep gratitude to God for a life well spent, the final rites of passage for their beloved matriarch. Until her passing, Deaconess Eka-Ete Okon Joe Ekpima served faithfully as a Deaconess in The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Oron Field Temple Headquarters.

In an official statement signed by the Head of the Family, Apostle (Dr.) Victor Okon Joe Ekpima, and made available to The Cabal Media by one of the deceased’s daughters, Ms. Treasure Ekpima—who is also a founding member of The Cabal Media—the burial arrangements have been scheduled as follows:

PASTOR SUNDAY ETIM OBOHO
(Born on 28 April, 1978) is The Apostolic Church Nigeria Pastor, Evangelist and Interpreter.

Born into the christian family of Elder/ Deaconess Etim Etim Oboho of Eyo Essang family, Eyokponung village in Udung uko LGA.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

FSLC - 1989 -Army Children School, Oron

SSCE - 1993 - Methodist Boys High School, Oron

SSCE - 2003 - National Secondary Commercial School, Oron

Diploma in Theology - 2003 - Apostolic Bible College (ABC)

ND - 2015 - Temple Gate Polytechnic

HND - 2021 - Temple Gate Polytechnic

CHRISTIAN LIFE
Born into the Apostolic Church family, he found himself in the Apostolic Church Nigeria from infancy and was baptized into the faith in 1989 by late Pastor A. R. Ossom at The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Oron Town District.
As a devoted and committed member, he faithfully served in many offices in the church meritoriously, such as;
sunday school teacher/ leader, assembly,
district and area choir master, district secretary and
district witness leader.
In 1999, he was ordained as a Deacon and later as an Elder in 2000 by late Apostle (Dr) A. O. Esuh.

MINISTERIAL SERVICE
His passion to work in the Lord's vineyard surpassed every other dreams he had and he was prophetically called to serve in God's vineyard as a Worker in 2006 - 2008 before being promoted as a full time Pastor and he served in the following stations;

Nung Atai District - 2009-2012

Eyobiosio District
2012-2014

Eyo Abasi District
2014-2016

Oyoku District
2016-2021

Amamong District
2021-2022

In November 2022, he was elevated into the office of an Apostle in the body of Christ, the highest priestly position in The Apostolic Church Nigeria and was ordained at Uyo Field Headquarters by Akwa Ibom State Territorial Chairman/Oron Field Superintendent, Apostle E. O. Uye, jp.
Currently, he is the Area Superintendent of Oduo Ebughu Area.

The former Director of protocol and Deputy Media Director in The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Oron Field is currently the Oron Field Welfare Chairman, Coordinator of One Fold TV in Oron Field, Akwa Ibom State Territorial Directory of drama/talent group, and Territorial/Oron Field interpreter who has featured both in Territorial / Oron Field convention effectively.

Apostle Sunday Oboho is a seasoned and a dynamic preacher with an unusual passion for undiluted gospel.
He is a man to reckon with in respect of the doctrine and practices of the Apostolic Church Nigeria. He is dedicated, resilient and evangelistic in leadership.
The handsome and energetic preacher got married to his pretty, sparkling, smart, ever cheerful and attractive wife, Deaconess (Mrs) Mary Sunday Oboho and the marriage is blessed with two lovely daughters.

At birth, it is difficult to access a new born baby's capabilities, his inherent strength and assigned missions but every man's goal in life unfolds at growth with his willingness to take his destiny in his hands.
Apostle Sunday Etim Oboho sermon preached and prayers offered at different arenas at various times has won many souls unto Christ.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, a sociable preacher, very accommodating, firm, truthful, humble, kind with gentle disposition. A good listener and adviser, a planner, intelligent leader and a reliable preacher with an high spirit of contentment.

The Apostolic Church, Nigeria, Oduo Ebughu Area headquarters is set to have a new look
.. as Justice Okon Abang and family worship God for a successful funeral

The Apostolic Church, Nigeria Oduo Ebughu Area headquarters on Sunday 16th March, 2025 played host to the family of Justice Okon Efreti Abang in thanksgiving for a successful funeral service of their matriarch late Mrs Atim Okon Abang.

Justice Okon Abang on behalf of the family appreciated God for giving them a clement weather experience and for also making the whole funeral process to be hitch free. He extended his appreciation to the ministers and indeed the entire members of the church for giving them moral and spiritual support all through their moments of grief even though they did not officially invite the church. This according to him informed his decision to gather members of his family to join the church in today's worship.

Justice Abang who is a Judge in the Court of Appeal Abuja division stated that though he is not a born Apostolic, he has a root with the church through his Uncle who was a dedicated member of the church.

In a way of saying thank you to God and the church, Justice Okon Abang donated 8KVA Generating set, 50 bags of POP cement, 100 POP sponge, 15 ceiling fans for the completion of the on-going POP ceiling project of the church. He also donated personal items like plates, umbrellas, sanitary towels,golden morn, peak milk and assorted can malt to the members of the church.

In a sermon titled GOD OF A BETTER DEAL, the Area Superintendent of Oduo Ebughu Area, Apostle Sunday E Oboho said God does things beyond human expectations and that God's plan is always the best and it surpasses man's plan. Apostle Oboho who took the text of his message from Ephesians 3:20-21 stressed the need for the believers to be hopeful and trust in God no matter the situation they find themselves.

The thanksgiving featured prayers and presentation of gift to Judge and his family.

LG Election Poll: The Cabal Media declares supports for Elder Godwin Okponung
.. Describing Hon. Elder Godwin Okponung As The Best Choice For Udung Uko

As political activities for the October 5th, 2024 Chairmanship election enter final lap, The Cabal Media have declare their unwavering support for the chairmanship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Udung Uko local government, Elder Godwin Okponung.

The reknown media group noted that after a thorough evaluation of all the candidates vying for the Chairmanship position, they have concluded that Elder Godwin Okponung's developmental blueprint and antecedents have semblance with that of the state governor, Pastor Umo Eno.

The Cabal Media maintained that given the capacity, competency, character strength, and humble nature of the PDP candidate, he will make the best chairman for Udung Uko LGA.

While explaining further on the rationale for their decision, they said the group cannot afford to sit on the fence and be unconcerned about affairs in the local government, stressing that in the event of allowing a wrong chairman emerge, everyone would be negatively affected.

The Cabal Media noted "We have looked at all the candidates and compared them with Elder Godwin Okponung, and have concluded that he is the best man for the job. We are here to say that we, the Cabal Media, will mobilise and vote for Elder Godwin. We can't afford to neglect our roles toward electing a suitable hand for the job knowing how regrettable it will turn if an ineffective leader is elected.

They Cabal Media added that since they are all from Oro nation and Akwa Ibom State, they are duty bound to actively participate in the process of electing a new chairman who will sustain the peace and development trajectory in the state.

The Cabal Media therefore assured their followers that Elder Godwin Okponung will best represent their aspirations in government and urged all to vote for the PDP chairmanship candidate.
