A person who intentionally apply for’ce or v!0lence on his or her spouse without consent or obtain consent by thre,at or fr,aùd commits an off:ence.
A person who assist or counsel another person to deal with or batt€r his or her spouse in a v!0lent manner may be termed as committing the offensê.
However, it is immaterial that the v!ct!m believes that he provoked the ab:u’ser.
It is also immaterial whether the v!ct!m deserves the v!0lencé meted on thim or her based on the provocation.
What that means is that, no matter how bad what your wife or husband says, it is not within your powers to act in any manner that is v!0lent.
The Law is not interested whether your spouse wrong you or not. Concentration will be on the abu;se from you.
