Today I received a letter from Sungrak Mission in south Korea this country has truly been a blessing to my missionary work for years now , they sponsors a lot of evangelical work in Nigeria sharing the Gospel truth to my nation
Dear Harry Edidiong,
May God's happiness and joy fill your heart.
This is Alice Chang from Sungrak Mission Center (Pastor Ki-Taek Lee) of Sungrak Church (Overseer Sung-Hyun Kim). I am writing to you under Pastor Lee's guidance, as he has entrusted me to reply to you.
The reason I suggest you to write sharings is to engage in deeper spiritual fellowship with you. Through this, your soul can become a vessel that sincerely holds God's Word, and you can grow as a worker whom God is pleased with. From the moment you received the books and Lord’s Day Service sermons, you have started one-on-one personal interaction with us, rather than just one person among the many people.
Sharing your testimony, impressions, or reflections involves writing about the insights that resonated with you after listening to Pastor Ki-Taek Lee's ‘Following God's Word’ sermon series. The intention is not to evaluate how well you read and summarize the sermons but rather to recognize that as you read the books and listen to the sermons, you come to understand what God is communicating to you. When you realize and receive it as a command, a change in your heart and actions, aligned with God's desires, will become evident.
Following the Overseer Sung-Hyun Kim’s teaching - "When looking at the Bible, don't interpret it subjectively; faithfully understand what the Bible itself is saying" - we need to listen and read from the perspective of the one conveying the truth. Then, examine our hearts and confess what we see in ourselves. By expressing this confession in writing, we apply God's Word to our lives.
Through such genuine interaction, as you receive and confess the word, God's happiness and joy will fill your soul, leading to further growth in your spiritual journey.
