1.Trying to look rich instead of actually creating wealth. Even if you buy expensive brands, designer bags or the latest gadgets, if your networth is close to zero, all that flamboyant appearance won’t matter in the long run when those liabilities depreciate and eventually lose value. You can still live a good life within budget, as long as you’re actually building wealth.

2.Trying to impress peers on Social media. According to research, many people are pressured into overspending on unnecessary things due to social media. For many people life is now about how they are perceived on social media. Resist the temptation to blow your money in an attempt to have something to show off on Instagram.

3. Spending money like you've already made it in life. You find a person buying things without checking prices, filling up trolleys without spending limits as if they are Elon Musk. Then one week later they start looking for a place to borrow money. This behaviour should remain behind.

A lawyer sold his well to a teacher. Two days later, the lawyer came to the teacher and said, "Sir, I sold you the well, but it's not with the water inside! If you want to use the water, you will have to pay extra."

The teacher smiled and replied, "Yes, I was about to come to you. I was going to say that you should please take your water from my well, or else you will have to start paying rent of keeping your water in my well from tomorrow because I only need the well but not the water inside.

Hearing this, the lawyer got nervous and said, "Oh, I was just joking sir!".

The teacher laughed and said, "You started your knowledge from us before becoming lawyers."

Success is not always about doing big things overnight. Most times, it is about showing up every day, even when you don’t feel motivated. Small actions done consistently will always beat big plans that never leave your head.

Life and business will test your patience. There will be days you feel slow, confused, or even tired. But growth happens when you refuse to quit, when you keep learning, adjusting, and moving forward despite the pressure.
