🔴 "The truth is, I've never even had problems with people copying me. It makes me feel that, oh, I'm actually inspiring people."

🔹Veekee James gives her opinion about people copying her styles.

You know, when I just started, it was really a bother to me. When you take so much time to do something, and someone will just copy without your knowledge. You wake up and one day you'll just see on the internet that they recreated your style. And they will be putting captions on it, that you the person who created it didn't have the mind to put such captions.

Like some people, most of them are people who are even close to me. They would be putting captions like, "The amount of time it took us to do this." Meanwhile I was the one that I saw this style in the dream. It's me that God gave this style. And In my caption, I'm humble. But those who copied are proud with my own design.

Sometimes, as in what I just said, I used to post them on my story and just be like, oh, it will be good for you. The truth is, I've never even had problems with people copying me. It makes me feel that, oh, I'm actually inspiring people. There are most people that would copy and put it there and say, oh, inspired by Week James. It gives me so much joy to see that I'm inspiring people. So it's not even a problem if you copy me. But when you copy me and you want to act like you don't know that you copied me, it's really painful.

But it took so much time for me to just be like, you know what? These people have copied you over years. They've still not been able to surpass you. So I just have to tell myself, you know what? There's a lot from where this is coming from. So if I start something and people are doing it, doing it, oh, I move on. So you guys can keep following me. That's the mindset that I have.

Here’s a simple and traditional recipe for making pap (also known as akamu, ogi, or koko) using millet and guinea corn. This nutritious fermented cereal pudding is common in many West African homes

🥣 Steps to Prepare Pap:

Step 1: Wash and Soak

1. Wash the millet and guinea corn separately to remove dirt and stones.

2. Combine both grains in a large bowl and cover with clean water.

3. Soak for 2–3 days at room temperature. Change the water daily to prevent a sour or bad smell.

Step 2: Blend

1. After soaking, rinse the grains again.

2. Blend the grains with a little water until very smooth. You can use a local grinding machine or a powerful blender. Add ginger, cloves, negro pepper.

Step 3: Sieve

1. Pour the blended mixture into a muslin cloth or use a fine sieve.

2. Add water and squeeze out the smooth liquid into a clean bowl. Discard the chaff.

3. Let the smooth liquid settle for 6–8 hours or overnight. The pap will sink to the bottom, and water will rise to the top.

Step 4: Separate and Store

1. Gently pour off the water on top (called “whey”).

2. What remains is the raw pap paste. Transfer it into a container and refrigerate. It can last up to a week when kept cool.

🔥 To Cook the Pap:

1. Scoop the desired quantity of raw pap into a bowl.

2. Mix with a little cold water to make a smooth paste.

3. Boil water in a kettle.

4. Gradually pour hot water into the pap paste while stirring quickly and continuously.

5. It will thicken into a smooth, custard-like texture.

6. Sweeten with sugar or honey and add milk if desired.

🥄 Serve With:

Akara (bean cakes)

Moi moi

Boiled eggs

Bread.

"If I ever wake up and tell my fiance I want a BBL, he has my permission to ask if d£mons slapped me in my dream."

Let’s be honest, the pressure is real. Everywhere you turn, there’s a new body. Sculpted. Snatched. Surgically assembled. And women are being applauded more for their h!ps than for their brains.

But me? Kehinde? I was raised differently. I was raised to love the body God gave me not to lie on a table to fit into someone else’s fantasy.

I told my once ex early in our relationship, “If you ever fall in love with a version of me that needs fixing, then you’re not really in love with me.”

See, I’m not judging anyone who’s gone under the kn!fe. I understand the pressure. But my truth? I want to age in peace. I want my body to reflect my journey, not erase it.

As an actress, I’ve played roles that stretched me emotionally, I’ve cried on screen, not because my face was frozen, but because it could move express, emote, feel. That’s the beauty I’m protecting.

So no, I’m not touching my body. Not because I’m perfect, but because I’m whole.

And in this BBL generation, being whole is rãdicâl.
