Akwanga Social Media Influencer (ASMI) Presents Champion of Humanity Award to Mr. Victor Tanimu

The visionary behind 'Kpuchum Care Initiative', Mr. Victor Tanimu, was honored with the Champion of Humanity award in Andaha. The award recognizes the NGO's positive impact on the local community.

During the ceremony, Mr. Reuben Auta, leader of the delegation, stated that the award acknowledges the initiative's contributions to the people of Andaha. Mallam Salisu Yahaya praised the NGO, describing it as a "saving grace" to the community, and called for collaboration.

Other notable speakers, including Mr. John Ahmed and Comr. Kyuni Rinze, commended the initiative for its work. Mr. Ahmed appreciated the NGO's efforts in promoting Akwanga globally through its brand name. Comr. Rinze encouraged the initiative to leverage social media to showcase its activities.

In response, Mr. Victor Tanimu expressed gratitude to ASMI for recognizing his efforts. He stated that the NGO was founded on love and compassion for humanity and pledged to continue serving his people. He also called for synergy between the two groups.

We appreciate Hon. Kwanta Yakubu for giving Akwanga Social Media Influencers (ASMI)two slot to participate in this empowerment programme.

Commissioner Ministry of Youth and Sports Development Hon Dr Kwanta Yakubu joined His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, at the graduation ceremony and award of Master of Business on the Streets (MBS) certificates to 50 beneficiaries of the Nasarawa State-sponsored empowerment training programme.

This impactful initiative, organized in collaboration with Interweave Solutions International, USA, and facilitated under the Sule Economic Development Scheme (SEDS), also featured the disbursement of start-up grants to support our youth in launching their entrepreneurial journeys.

The Honorable Commissioner however said he is truly pleased with this milestone and deeply hopeful that more youth across our dear state will continue to benefit from this and other life-changing initiatives.

As courtesy demands, a delegation, of people from Andaha district, under the leadership of the Wakilin Andaha, Maigirma Micah Maikasuwa paid a special visit to Hon. Kwanta Yakubu Buhar, Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sport Development, Nasarawa State, at his new hotel; under construction, along Wamba Road, Akwanga.

The visit was in two faces, to congratulate him in his re-appointment as commissioner representing Akwanga local government and to appreciate him for all the numerous contributions he has done to the people of Akwanga, and Nasarawa State at large.

Declaring the mission statement, Wakilin Andaha describes, Hon. Kwanta Yakubu, as a visionary leader whose mission is to retain and maintain unity among the Mada people, regardless of affiliation. *“We are here today to congratulate and appreciate you as Commissioner and our son,” he said.

Responding, Hon. Kwanta Yakubu, expressed joy for such an hour his parent he said. According to him, right from time, the Andaha district commands respect as the traditional home for any Mada person across the globe🌎. As the heart of Mada Land.

He used the moment calling in the people of Andaha to keep sentiment aside and embrace unity and progress regardless of party affiliation for a better Mada nation. *“Politics came and gone, those that attained position were the winners”* “is time we drop all differences, let’s work as a team so that we can achieve”. He said.
