Dear Musicians

You want to record for free.
You want a graphic designer — for free.
You want a photographer to take your pictures — for free.
You want a PR team, a distributor, a marketing campaign — all for free.
And then you expect to get paid in return?

Let’s be real:
There is no payment without investment.
Even if you do get paid, it’s after everyone took a massive cut — because you paid them nothing.

Yes, we understand — not everyone can afford big budgets.
But if you keep depending on free everything, you’ll keep getting free-level results.

A free studio might not prioritize your session.
A free distributor might not push your song.
A free graphic designer might not care about your brand.
Why should they?

People go where they are valued.

That #100,000 or #200,000 you have — it may seem small, but it shows intent. It shows you’re serious. Even small investments open doors and build mutual respect.

So let’s learn to invest in our craft.
Not just with money — but with effort, energy, and value.

Because the truth is:
If you invest nothing, you get nothing.

GODFEARING is not a quality to look out for in a spouse after you've already fallen, it is a nature that should attract you to that person in the first place.

Adam was already Godfearing before the Holy Ghost thought it was time to give him a helpmeet.

Godfearing was not a criteria for the arrival of Eve, the man shared a wonderful fellowship with Elohim, Godfearing was the absolute nature of God that was resident in him.

Carrying the nature of God is not a quality to look out for, it is like saying being alive is a quality for marriage. Is it a dead man's proposal you want to accept? You must first be alive before I can start looking for other things like your six packs, b***s and all.

So also is Godfearing, I dont have to come to you to start checking if you are Godfearing before I can consider a relationship with you, naaa, it is your Godfearing nature that will draw me towards you in the first place, and all other things will follow.

Born June 9, 1957, He is a non-denominational Christian evangelical pastor and motivational speaker. He was the senior pastor of The Potter's House, a non-denominational American megachurch in Dallas, Texas, from 1996 to 2025.

Jakes' church services and evangelistic sermons are broadcast on The Potter's Touch. He is the author of many books and also produces films.
