GRAND CORONATION CEREMONY OF HIS ROYAL MAJESTY, DR. CHINEDU BENSON MADUBUKO (OFR)

The Adazi-Ani Town Union (ATU) proudly announces the grand coronation ceremony of His Royal Majesty, Dr. Chinedu Benson Madubuko (OFR), as the Eze Chinenye I of Adazi-Ani.

This historic and culturally significant event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 22nd August 2026, by 10:00 AM, at the Adazi-Ani Town Hall, where sons and daughters of the community, dignitaries, and well-wishers will gather to witness the official ascension of a revered leader to the throne of his forefathers.

The ceremony will be graced by distinguished personalities, including the Special Guest of Honour, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, Governor of Anambra State, alongside other notable leaders and stakeholders.

Following the coronation, a grand reception will be held at the Community High School, Adazi (Adazi-Ani), Anaocha LGA, offering an opportunity for celebration, unity, and cultural display.

What happened last week is a strong reminder to all of us. My advice to everyone whether you live in a school environment or outside, tenants and landlords alike is this: always check the structural strength of any building before you rent or buy.

Sometimes, a house may look beautiful and well-decorated, but that doesn’t mean it is safe or strong. Never be deceived by appearance. Your safety should always come first.

The recent building collapse is a lesson to us all. Let’s be more careful, more aware, and more responsible.

FROM THE MINISTRY OF PHYSICAL PLANNING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT, ANAMBRA STATE.

Desist from putting up illegal structures within the road setbacks across the state.

Anambra State Government through the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Anambra state has issued a public service announcement admonishing the public to desist from putting up structures within the setbacks of the right of way of public roads across the State. The Ministry has since commenced the identification and marking of all such illegal structures and shanties within the setbacks of the right of way of all roads within Anambra State as a prelude to their removal.
