๐จManchester United chief executive Omar Berrada has insisted the club will not enter a bidding war with Manchester City for Elliott Anderson or overpay for any player. He stressed that United will only sign players who genuinely want to play for the club.
Berrada also confirmed that the reported ยฃ120 million valuation placed on the Nottingham Forest midfielder is far beyond what the club considers acceptable..
He emphasized the need for discipline in the market, stating that the club must stick to its plan and not allow transfer fees or agents to dictate its strategy.
For now, a move for Anderson will only be possible if Forest lower their demands and the player shows a genuine desire to wear the Manchester United shirt.
United are determined to stick to their plan and sign players who truly want to be at Old Trafford.
