why did we need him.

From the previous election, Sahlan has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he deserves our full support in 2027.

Now more than ever, we need a leader who can stand firm and speak boldly on behalf of the people.

A leader who can create opportunities and provide jobs for our youth.

A leader who can unite our people and strengthen our communities.

Sahlan is that leader one who leads not just with words, but with clear and visible action.

2027 is the time for progress.
The choice is Sahlan.

A CALL TO SERVE JOS SOUTH STATE CONSTITUENCY

My dear people of Jos South,

I am deeply humbled by the growing calls, encouragement, and support from friends, youths, elders, and stakeholders across our constituency urging me to contest for the position of Member, Plateau State House of Assembly.

This call is not just about politics, it is about service, responsibility, and a shared vision for a better Jos South.

Our constituency deserves purposeful representation, quality legislation, youth empowerment, improved education, and sustainable development.

After careful reflection and consultation, I am inspired by your confidence in me.

I believe that together, we can build a stronger, more united, and progressive Jos South.

This journey is not mine alone—it belongs to all of us. Your voice, your support, and your participation will shape the future we desire.

I, Zakariya M. Musa, am ready to answer this call to serve with integrity, dedication, and accountability.

Together, let us rise. Together, let us lead. Together, let us build Jos South.

Boom: A voice for concerned

The truth must be spoken.

For over three years, communities like Anglo Jos, Dadin Kowa, Bukuru, Mai Adiko, Rafin Bauna, and others have stood firm in support of , Member representing Jos South and Chief Whip of the State Assembly. We voted, we campaigned, and we believed in his leadership.

But today, we must ask honestly: what has our community gained?

There is a growing concern among our people that these communities have not seen meaningful projects, development, or inclusion in this administration. Our support should not be taken for granted.

As talks of continuity continue, let it be clear: we will not support leadership that does not recognize or benefit our communities.

This is not about hatred it is about fairness, accountability, and the future of our people.

Our votes must count.
Our communities must matter.

Barely a day after President Bola Tinubu visited Jos, the Plateau State capital, to reassure residents following recent unrest, another wave of violence has struck, heightening fears over the state’s fragile security landscape.

In the early hours of Friday, suspected terrorist elements reportedly from the Rankum (Mahanga) area attacked the Jol community in Riyom Local Government Area, killing 51-year-old Dalyop Betobeje.

The incident, which occurred at about 6:56 a.m., has drawn strong reactions from local leaders, who described it as a direct affront to ongoing efforts aimed at restoring peace in Plateau State.

This latest attack follows closely on the heels of another deadly incident in Heipang District of Bassa Local Government Area.

The Berom Youth Moulders Association (BYM) disclosed that gunmen suspected to be herdsmen invaded Ban village at about 9 p.m. on Wednesday, killing a secondary school student, Gloria Godwin, injuring several others, and destroying properties.

Security sources confirmed the development, noting that police authorities have begun investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack and are making efforts to apprehend those responsible.

In a statement by its leadership, the association condemned the incident, describing it as “a brutal and senseless act” that underscores the persistent security challenges facing communities in Plateau.

“We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and wish a speedy recovery to those injured,” the statement read.

Chairman of BYM Heipang District, Jacob Pam Chall, acknowledged the prompt response of security personnel but stressed the need for sustained action, including a thorough investigation and prosecution of the perpetrators.

“It is imperative that security agencies sustain this momentum and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice. Our communities deserve safety and peace,” he said.

The association also called on residents to remain calm and united, urging community leaders and citizens to strengthen vigilance and cooperate with security agencies.

During his visit to Plateau on Wednesday, President Tinubu assured victims and residents of the Federal Government’s determination to end the cycle of violence and restore lasting peace.

“I promise you this experience will not repeat itself,” the President said while commiserating with affected families.

However, the renewed attack in Riyom on Thursday, along with the earlier violence in Heipang, has cast doubt on those assurances, underscoring the urgency for sustained and decisive security measures.

In recent times, Plateau State has witnessed a resurgence of violent attacks, particularly in rural communities, raising concerns among residents and putting pressure on authorities to deliver lasting peace despite high-level interventions.

In 2023, Arsenal lost on penalties to Sporting CP in the Europa League, followed by a 3-3 draw at home to relegated Southampton and a 4-1 defeat at the Etihad which all but ended the Gunners hopes of becoming Premier League champions.

In 2026, Arsenal face the exact same three opponents in a two week period which could make or break their season again.

The FA Cup, Champions League and Premier League is all on the line.

Arsenal are on a revenge tour and it begins tomorrow.
