QUAAN-PAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL CHAIRMAN EXTENDS HIS CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY OF LATE LONG PAN, DESCRIBES HIS DEATH AS AN UNFILLABLE VOID TO THE PAN NATION

The Executive Chairman of Qua'an-Pan Local Government Council, Hon. Christopher Audu Manship (Wallat), led a high-powered delegation to condole with the family of the late Long Pan, President of Quaan-Pan Traditional Council, Miskagam Nda Emmanuel Dabang, at his residence.

The Chairman eulogized the late monarch as a visionary leader who brought unparalleled stability and progress to the traditional institute of Qua'an-Pan. He described his death as an unfillable void to the Pan Nation, acknowledging the immense impact he had on shaping the traditional landscape and uniting the traditional rulers and people of Qua'an-Pan Local Government.

The Chairman further lauded the late monarch as a pillar of peacebuilding in the community, whose contributions would leave a lasting impact on the community's heritage.

In response, the bereaved family extended their sincerest gratitude to the Chairman and his delegation for their thoughtful gesture, acknowledging that the Chairman's presence had brought them solace in their moment of sorrow.

In an expression of sympathy, the Executive Chairman of Shendam Local Government Council, Hon. Dr. Nicholas Kemi Nshe, condoled with Qua'an-Pan Local Government Council over the demise of Long Pan, the President of Qua'an-Pan Traditional Council, Miskagam Nda Emmanuel Dabang.

Dr. Nshe eloquently extolled the virtues of the late monarch, highlighting his exceptional leadership qualities that had a lasting impact on Qua'an-Pan's development and harmony.

QUA'AN-PAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL CHAIRMAN ATTENDS WAPTOER CULTURAL FESTIVAL, LAUDS KWALLA DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION'S UNITY

The Executive Chairman of Qua'an-Pan Local Government Council, Hon. Christopher Audu Manship, attended the Waptoer cultural festival and lauded the unity of the Kwalla Development Association.

In his keynote remarks, the Chairman expounded on the paramount importance of unity in fostering an ecosystem conducive to peace and development. "Unity is the catalyst that transforms disparate voices into a harmonious symphony of progress and prosperity" he stated.

The Chairman praised the leadership and organizers of the Waptoer festival for a successful event and congratulated the new Miss Waptoer Chindo Naankoeloeng and Lasual Waptoer, Pascal Doenafume Kurtong, charged them to serve as ambassadors of peace and work tirelessly to unite Kwalla youths for the development of Kwalla development association and in extension Quaan-Pan Local Government.

In furtherance of his commitment to the development of the Kwalla community, the Chairman donated five hundred thousand Naira (₦500,000) to the association, encouraged them to continue promoting unity and cultural heritage for the growth and development of Kwalla.

As we commemorate Good Friday, I, on behalf of the Quaan-Pan Local Government Council, wish to extend our warmest greetings to all citizens of our beloved local government and beyond.

This sacred day is a significant occasion for Christians around the world, and we acknowledge the importance of reflecting on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The values of love, compassion, and selflessness that Jesus embodied are essential for building a strong and vibrant community.

As we reflect on the journey of Jesus to Calvary, we are reminded of the importance of forgiveness, mercy, and sacrifice. These virtues are crucial for fostering peace, harmony, and progress in our community.

I urge our citizens to emulate these values in their daily lives, as we strive to build a better future for ourselves and future generations. As a Council, we remains committed to providing good governance and developing our local government.

We are working diligently to improve infrastructure, healthcare, education, and other essential services that impact the lives of our citizens. QUAAN-PAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL CHAIRMAN REITERATES ADMINISTRATION'S COMMITMENT TO INCLUSIVENESS, PLEDGES QUARTERLY EMPOWERMENT TO ITS CITIZENS.

In a remarkable display of dedication to the welfare of citizens, the Executive Chairman of Quaan-Pan Local Government Council, Hon. Christopher Audu Manship (Wallat), reaffirmed his administration's unwavering commitment to inclusive governance and pledged a quarterly empowerment program to benefit the citizens.

The Chairman made this commitment on Wednesday, 2nd April 2025, during the issuance of appointment letters to over one hundred and thirty (130) appointees in the Legislative Chamber of Quaan-Pan LGC secretariat.

The appointees who received appointment letters comprise Supervisory Councillors, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, and Media Assistants.

The Chairman charged the appointees to serve as vigilant watchdogs of his administration, diligently identifying problems and reporting back to the council from their various communities.

"Quaan-Pan Local Government Council is an inclusive institution that belongs to all residents, regardless of their ethnic background or indigeneship. Anyone who claims that the local government council is the exclusive domain of Christopher Manship only does not have the progress of the council at heart," the Chairman stated emphatically.

"I am merely a servant of the people, privileged to be chosen by God to serve the local government as the Executive Chairman amongst numerous people in Quaan-Pan," he added.

The Chairman further urged the appointees to discharge their responsibilities with utmost diligence and work in harmony with the "This Is The Way" administration to support the vision and philosophy of Plateau State Governor, His Excellency Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, thereby contributing meaningfully to the rebirth and development of Plateau State.

QUAAN-PAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL CHAIRMAN REAFFIRMS CONFIDENCE IN GOVERNOR MUTFWANG'S LEADERSHIP AHEAD OF 2027

The Executive Chairman of Quaan-Pan Local Government Council, Hon. Christopher Audu Manship (Wallat), reaffirmed his confidence in Plateau State Governor, His Excellency Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang's leadership ahead of 2027.

The Chairman made this reaffirmation during a courtesy visit by a delegation from the People's Democracy Party (PDP) of Mangu Local Government Area at the Felix Dakyap Guest House, Doemak.

The delegation, led by Chief Moses Tangsan, aimed to extend gratitude to the people of Quaan-Pan Local Government for their support in the governorship poll during the 2023 general elections.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Mr. Aminu Jonathan commended Quaan-Pan as a pivotal region that contributed significantly to their electoral success, thanks to the robust support for Governor Mutfwang. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Quaan-Pan Local Government for their overwhelming support in the election.

"We are indebted to Quaan-Pan for their unwavering support for Governor Mutfwang in 2023," Mr. Jonathan added.

Responding on behalf of Quaan-Pan stakeholders, the LGA PDP Chairman, Alh. Lawal Barry, thanked the delegation for their visit and expressed gratitude to Governor Mutfwang for appointing numerous sons and daughters from Quaan-Pan into his administration. He also solicited urgent construction of the awarded roads in Quaan-Pan.

Hon. Zainab Tigwar Dogo, a former member representing Quaan-Pan South constituency, contributed to the discussion, echoing the PDP Chairman's sentiments.

Executive Chairman of Qua'an Pan Local Government Council Christopher Audu Manship has approved the appointment of Danaan Cletus Sylvanus as Director of Press and Publicity.

Mr Danaan who until his present appointment was the Senior Special Assistants on Media and Publicity to the Executive Chairman where he distinguished himself creditably well exhibited by portraying the image of the council positive.

According to a statement signed by the Council's Secretary, Joseph Dashe, the Chairman congratulated Danaan on his elevation and called on him to redoubled his efforts by discharging his new assignment with more commitment and dedication.

In another development, the Chairman has urged the newly appointees to report at the Legislative Council on Wednesday second April, unfailingly for Documentation.

The Chairman assured the appointees of his commitment to carry all along in the affairs of his the administration of the Council and promised an inclusive approach to governance at the grassroots.

In a colourful ceremony, the Executive Chairman of Quaan-Pan Local Government Council, Hon. Christopher Audu Manship (Wallat), graced Anita Dashe's sendforth ceremony, held in Pandam Hotel, Namu, and charged her to build a happy home.

The council chairman, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Dangwam Raymond, offered words of wisdom to Anita, advising her to cultivate love, respect, and open communication in her marriage.

"As you navigate the intricacies of married life, remember that a fulfilling partnership is built upon a foundation of trust, respect, and open communication," the Chairman stated.

In a gesture of goodwill, the Chairman presented a monetary donation to support Anita's marital journey and wished her a blissful married life, praying for her happiness and prosperity.
