🌍 Did you know one African country is not yet in 2026? 🤯

While most of the world uses the Gregorian calendar, Ethiopia follows its own calendar — and it is currently several years behind.

So technically, while Nigeria is in 2026, Ethiopia is still in 2018 😮

Have you heard this before?

🔥 SILENT SOCIAL MISTAKES IN ENGLISH
( You may be speaking correctly… but still sounding wrong 😳)

1️⃣ Interrupting mid-sentence ❌
👉 Even with correct grammar, it feels disrespectful
✅ Say: “Sorry to interrupt, may I add something?”

2️⃣ Not acknowledging people ❌
👉 Jumping straight to your point sounds cold
✅ Say: That’s a good point… before responding

3️⃣ Overusing “I”❌
👉 I think… I want… I believe…(too much!)
✅ Balance it: “We could consider…”

4️⃣ Giving blunt corrections ❌
👉 “You are wrong.”
✅ Say: I see it differently.

5️⃣ Ignoring tone ❌
👉 Same words, different tone = different meaning
😐 “Okay.” (can sound rude!)
✅ Try: “Alright, that works 😊”

6️⃣ Over-talking ❌
👉 Speaking too much reduces impact
✅ Learn to pause — silence shows confidence

7️⃣ No “please” or “thank you” ❌
👉 Grammar is correct, but manners are missing
✅ “Please” and “Thank you” = respect

💡 Truth:
Good English is not just grammar…
👉 It’s how you make people feel when you speak.

💬 Which of these have you noticed before? Be honest!

✅ Say: “Wring out the shirt”

Wring out means to twist clothes with your hands to remove water after washing. 👕💦

Example:
She wrung out the shirt and spread it outside to dry.
