When Korede Bello Made his first 1 Billion Naira , he told Don Jazzy he won’t renew his CONTRACT again . He told Don Jazzy he can do it on his own now .
Instead of the 30% he was getting ? Korede was excited ,he will be getting 100 % . He knew in no time he will be making billions now instead of small money .
Little did he know, Most of the shows he had , came because people knew Don Jazzy , he didn’t know most of the brands he worked with came cus of Don Jazzy . He also forgot that he was about to start paying his producer , video director , PR , paying his flights and rents . When he made 100 million , after paying for everything , he didn’t have up to the amount he used to have when working with Don Jazzy . Things became hard and shows disappeared, no producer could understand his sound the way Don Jazzy did .
At that point he started regretting , getting angry at friends who lied to him that he could do it on his own . That was all about his career .
If you are somewhere , you are getting what you deserve , please do not look at what others are earning . Do not let greed blind you . Sometimes 30% is bigger than 100% . 30% of $2 million is bigger than 100% of 800m naira .
