The buzz going around that Senator Ned Nwoko has signed on to be the NDC Deputy Governorship candidate in Delta State is simply not true.

The image making the rounds features Deacon Chris Iyovwaye paying a friendly visit to Senator Ned Nwoko, where he presented him with a copy of his book.

There’s no solid evidence in any of the reports that backs up the idea of a “4-year deal” or any agreement that would make Senator Ned Nwoko the NDC running mate.

Let’s let the facts do the talking instead of getting caught up in political rumors.

A courtesy visit does not equal a political agreement.

Politics may be fleeting, but the influence of true leadership can resonate for generations.

When we think about Senator Ned Nwoko’s role in representing Delta North, it’s essential to look beyond mere political debates or party affiliations. His impact should be evaluated based on his actions, the results he’s achieved, and the vision he has consistently shared for the future of our community.

From his legislative efforts and community support to his unwavering push for the creation of Anioma State, Ned Nwoko has shown that representing Delta North is about more than just the next election cycle.

No leader is without flaws, and it’s natural to have political disagreements. However, when a representative bravely tackles issues that can forge lasting opportunities for their constituents, those efforts deserve our serious attention.

Delta North needs to rise above the usual political noise and consider one crucial question: What type of leadership will truly benefit us all in the coming years?

The answer shouldn’t be swayed by emotions, rivalries, or blind party loyalty.

Let’s allow performance, vision, and the needs of our people to guide our decision.

Senator Ned Nwoko: a choice Delta North will not regret.

From the Senate chambers to the heart of local communities, Senator Ned Nwoko tirelessly champions the issues that resonate with Delta North—Anioma State, focusing on infrastructure, education, healthcare, job creation, and overall constituency development.

True leadership goes beyond merely holding a title; it’s about making a lasting impact that future generations can look up to. When purpose aligns with courage and action, the community truly reaps the rewards.

During his uncle's campaign, Governor Ademola Adeleke, music sensation Davido urged the people of Osun State to stand against violence, intimidation, and any actions that could disturb the harmony of their communities.

The message is crystal clear: politics should revolve around choices, not conflict.

Every voter deserves the right to make their own choice, and that choice should be honored. Elections should empower citizens to voice their opinions freely, without fear, intimidation, or violence.

As Osun gears up for another political showdown, it’s up to politicians, supporters, and voters alike to safeguard peace and let democracy thrive.

LET THE OSUN PEOPLE DECIDE!
VOTE, NOT FIGHT.
PEACE, NOT VIOLENCE.
FREE, FAIR & CREDIBLE ELECTIONS.

One of the standout features of Senator Ned Nwoko’s legislative agenda is his commitment to empowering Nigerians to create jobs rather than just hunt for them.

Take a look at initiatives like the Nigerian Youth Entrepreneurship Grant Programme Bill and the Women and Youth Enterprise Equity Fund Bill. The message is crystal clear: we need to provide young people and entrepreneurs with the resources and opportunities they need to establish thriving businesses.

Additionally, the Institute for Leadership, Entrepreneurial and Corporate Governance Bill is also aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and enhancing skills.

But here’s the real question: How many Nigerian youths can step up to become employers instead of waiting indefinitely for government positions?

This is the kind of dialogue Nigeria needs to embrace — shifting the focus from merely seeking jobs to actively creating them.

Legislation should pave the way for opportunities, and leadership should ensure those opportunities come to life.

In politics, it’s all about results, not just promises. Every decision we make carries weight, and every choice we take shapes what’s to come.

As Delta North looks toward 2027, the pressing question isn’t just who will represent us in the Senate, but what we risk losing if Senator Ned Nwoko isn’t re-elected.

In just one term, Senator Ned Nwoko has been a driving force behind the Anioma State creation campaign, sponsored crucial bills, and facilitated various projects and interventions throughout Delta North. His supporters argue that these efforts have amplified our district's voice on the national stage.

For many of us, Anioma State represents more than just a political goal—it’s a dream for future generations. At this pivotal moment, maintaining continuity is essential. A change in leadership could jeopardize the progress we’ve made.

The APC also faces a significant decision. Recognizing and rewarding performance can bolster party unity and build confidence among its members, while ignoring it might erode grassroots support.

History teaches us that communities often realize the value of steady leadership only after it’s lost. That’s why the saying rings true: Lessons don’t need speeches; they need consequences.

The decision Delta North makes in 2027 will not only influence our district's future but also determine if the progress we’ve achieved continues or faces a setback.

The EFCC is facing criticism for what many see as double standards in its fight against corruption. Dr. Omenazu Jackson, the Chancellor of the Inti Society for Social Justice and Human Rights, is advocating for a fair application of Nigeria's anti-corruption laws. He points out that while suspected internet fraudsters are often brought to justice, those accused of major financial crimes seem to slip through the cracks.

In his comments, Jackson emphasized the need for thorough investigations into allegations of public fund misappropriation, insisting that prosecutions should occur when there's enough evidence. He firmly believes that it's up to the courts, not public sentiment, to decide guilt or innocence.

"I'm not claiming they are guilty, but they should face prosecution. Nigerians deserve to see these cases in court, allowing the judiciary to determine their guilt or innocence. We are not naive; we understand what's going on in our society," he stated.

His statements have sparked renewed discussions among the public about the need for fairness, transparency, and consistency in Nigeria's anti-corruption efforts, with many citizens demanding that all suspects be treated equally, regardless of their power or influence.

Equal justice should apply to everyone.
Do you believe Nigeria's anti-corruotion fight is being applied fairly?

Kindly share your thoughts respectfully.
