The wife of Delta Governor, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, and the founder of You Matter Charity Foundation, Monday, January 1, 2024, visited the Asaba Specialist Hospital, Asaba to welcome the first baby of the year born in the state.

Deaconess Oborevwori congratulated the baby, Master Destiny Onuoha, who was born at 12:05 am to Mr and Mrs Martins Onuoha. She proclaimed the promises of 1 Kings 5:4 over baby Destiny, emphasizing that he would be a shining blessing to his family.

The governor’s wife, accompanied by the You Matter Charity Foundation team, visited the maternity complex, neonatal unit, and the labour and pediatric wards, where she showered gift items, including cash sums, to babies and mothers.

She also paid off a total medical bill of One million, six hundred and eighty-one thousand naira (N1,681,000) for indigent adults and children, including the bill of a child booked for surgery.

In Support of her husband’s MORE Agenda for Delta State, Wife of the Governor, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori has introduced her Pet Project known as the ‘You Matter Charity Foundation’.

You Matter Charity Foundation is a Non-governmental and Non-profit organization with the vision to create a society where every individual feels valued, regardless of their background.

It is a voice for vulnerable individuals; a platform to impact rural communities through various outreaches and empowerment programmes, provision of accessible healthcare and education for women and children, and elimination of gender-based violence and drug abuse in Delta State.

Deaconess Oborevwori while introducing her project to the Wives of Honourable members of the Delta State House of Assembly and Chairmen of the 25 local government areas on August 2, 2023, called for the support of well-meaning individuals and corporate bodies to join her in creating a world where EVERYBODY is SOMEBODY.
